9 - Robert Lewandowski

He seems to have very good relationship with other players in general and sort of a helpful uncle type for youngsters so complaining about the celebration style seems inane. Lot of players have/had their signature victory performance after the goal after which they go and congratulate each other in a mass gang bang.

Great performance 8/10. More than goals I liked how he tried to assist. The pass to Pedri was excellent. It could be match highlight.

Unfortunately with such defense I can't see Barcelona win against Bayern. Every single opponent can counter Barca so easily. I hope the tactics against Bayern will be different.

? We've conceded 2 goals in 5 games lol.

It's not a stellar defense but it's solid enough. Plus, we won't play Roberto as RB against Bayern.

After his 2nd goal the immediate thing he did was to run over to Demb?l? to thank him as he played the pass that Lewandowski was demanding the whole time.

Now on the other 2 goals, those were basically all him. It's not really the norm to hype a simple shortpass and a lay off when realistically he is the one that snipes it in from 20m out.
He certainly appreciates great assists when they occur, but if he's the one that creates the goal, well then why not celebrate himself a little? He surely deserved it. It's not that unusual really.

Could he peak again?

Heard him say something like that few months back. Said he was using some technology and mental sharpness enhancing sessions or some shit like that....

He might actually peak higher than before. He constantly tries to improve.

Not with Araujo in there. If you add Kounde in that pair, that danger is greatly diminished.

I still think Bayern will put a huge strain on our defense no matter who we line up with, and I expect us to concede at least 2 goals at the Allianz. Not saying we can keep a clean sheet or anything.

But we have the firepower to score 2 or 3 as well. Should be a fun game.

How long ago did you start supporting Barca?

I've been around since the R10 days, so I've seen us destroy plenty of big teams on the CL stage over the years.

So, it's not all bad. I know the last 4 or so years left a bad taste in people's mouths but we're a much stronger team today than Barca 19/20, 20/21 or 21/22.

Probably taking the Serena route. Dominate until age 38-40

Roughly from 2012 I think

Yah, it's the past 3-4 seasons which were totally embarrassing
