It may seem lol-ish indeed, 😁 but I am like him, except perhaps that the only club association I have is the one from my youth and very local one Pogoń Szczecin (Poland).

I would be dishonest to say I am a dedicated Barca fan because as soon as Lewandowski is out, my sentiments towards it will shift pretty much to null.
E.g. I could not care less about BVB or Bayern today....they might as well disappear from existence. The only thing I do care about Bayern is that Lewandowski's goal record remains unbeaten...😁 And I can't help it either.

That's how we are, the football fans, from countries where there's little money vested into national leages, as a result our best talents are sold out, often too prematurely, and we're left with minnows. Our clubs suck ass and we can only envie other nations to have all that available capital to prop up their international levels.

Therefore, my dear Barca fans, the likes of Lewandowski are our proxies into the taste of the big arena and all we can get is a mere lick of how it tastes to win the CL...But don't be mistaken!!! ...for as long as I see RL9 in Barca jersey, I am 100% dedicated to support Barca, even though I do realize, that his days there are coming to the inevitable end.

I worry not for your analogy is misplaced completely...

Football at the club level, for many folks, transitioned long time ago from a team sport to an individual show...

See, for many, a football club is merely a canvas upon which your favorite Rembrandt can create his piece of art...To me BVB, Bayern, or Barcelona now, is such a canvas..or even better, a theater, and it's team is an Orchestra - where my favorite fiddler can express his talent.

Perhaps for 'low lifes' incapable appreciating different facets of the sport...I am above them, so your words hurt me not.

Just trying to steer your erronous logic on the right track...You're not a low life, are you?

I am not a low life and I am definitely a cheap hooker like you.
Now leave me alone.

I got shit to do instead of arguing with jabronis.

You know folks...to me being a real fan of a club, without being somewhat 'localy' associated with it is quite impossible. I'd have to be at least Catalonian or live there for decades to become somehow emotionally vested.

I actually long for the days of 1980s and before - however a young kid I was back then - when English Leage was played by Brits, Germans played in Bundesliga, Spaniards in LaLiga etc. It was more orderly...and fair too - I mean from a fan perspective. I have nothing against 'appreciating' and admitting the valor and value of the sport e.i. at other clubs or nations...but to become somehow a fan of a foreign club is beyond my capacity. For instance, I can appreciate Brazil NT, or Manchester City but whether the win WC or CL or lose... I could not care less.

Ha ha...you're the limp dick who approached me, now you're screaming under pressure...what does it say about you? Yeah...yeah...go on with your cheapo life...do your errands....I hoped for some more fun with you.

Oh well, it did not take long to be insulted without a reason or provocation but that's how these keyboard Rambos are...easy to throw a blow and first to hide their tail under their ass.

After all, I did not bring this "being ONLY Lewandowski fan" onto any other threads but this one.

Hey, I may be quite antiquated with my anti-global feelings but I've ABSOLUTELY nothing against anybody who is capable to muster LOVE and dedication for a foreign club...I mean if you can, more power to you! I wish I could...but I can't.

Not to sure, however, if I could follow Lewandowski to the Arab league...nah...I don't think so...MLS...sure!

And to be 100% honest, and speaking of 1970s and 1980s, Lewandowski, in my own valuation, has not even been the best Poland's player at all...in the last 50 or so years.

1. Włodzimierz Lubański
2. Kazimierz Deyna
3. Zbigniew Boniek
4. Grzegorz Lato

5. Robert Lewandowski

Back then transfers and international competitions were much more limited...no internet, no streaming etc...
