If prime Messi and Ronaldo played in the Bundeslol, they would have scored 100 goals per season.

lewandowski scored 3 goals today and barely had any challenge from stuttgart's defense on any of them. game looked like some practice match.

He wasn t in the conversation of the best player in the world.

that's true, but that also doesnt mean he was an unknown quantity.

this was also prime CR and messi time, when these two were bagging hattricks every other week. not exactly lewa's fault he wasnt at that level

They beat us 8-2 and broke the CL scoring record with two less matches, but it's just that Bundesliga defenses are bad apparently

You are just afraid that Ronaldo could win Euro :lol:

But yeah Lewa is on another level at the moment, if he wins CL he could get ballon dor.

Ronaldo has barely been top 10 this season but I wouldnt be surprised if he got carried to the euros and managed to weasel his way into the conversation

Ronaldo is doing well, for a 36 year old, but he wont be winning it anymore.

He has done well when it comes to scoring goals domestically, but considering there are no Serie A teams left in CL, and the fact that PL-rejects/has-beens are running away with the title, sufficive to say that Serie A isnt at its best right now.

It's the most defensive and toughest league to score in though apparently (even though Serie A has the most goals scored of the big 5 leagues)

Of course he wasn't unknown, didn't said that.Just saying that back then there were others that were better than him, besides the obvious two.Robben,Ribery,Suarez,Aguero,Neymar or Iniesta were all highly rated and considered better than Lewandoski. And i don't remember him having such incredible goalscoring seasons as in the last three or something. He was good obviously, but not even the best striker in the world. Now the competition is scarce.Besides an aging Messi and Ronaldo,we have at most Mbappe and Haaland that can reach the heights of the players i said.Football has regressed, individually and especially from a defenders point of view.
