Martinez was not outmuscling Lewa he was simply fouling or kicking him all night .. the ref was incompetent

Lewandowski is over six feet tall and 81kgs.
He prides himself on his physical condition and constantly looks to use his body strength to hold off players.

Martinez is 5'7 and weighs less than him and still made him look like a pussy.
Yes he kicked him; would you expect anything else at Old Trafford on a European night?
Also, numerous times Lewa went down FAR too easy as he's been doing all season.

He dives as much as that guy in Saudi sometimes instead of getting stuck in.

You cannot defend yourself against a guy who is lunging in with elbows in your face and knees in your ribs ffs

The ref looked as though he had been paid off

Dude, Martinez is a fucking midget, if Lewa doesn't give some back that's on him.

Ref wasn't paid off.

Paid off but gave that soft penalty in our favour when could've easily let the play continue.

These ref excuses are so boring.

Mate, RL9 came in to Benzema's league and took away the Picchhi with ease.

Benzema is way behind him even with 5 pens as compared to RL9's 0 pens.

Showing him levels like he has throughout his career.

1 season wonder Bald Algerian in the mud.

Now, about those levels.....

Well, Lewandowski was never that multi-dimensional as some of his fanboys make him out to be. While at Bayern, he played with by far the best team in the country with a wider margin to the next best team. He scored a boatload of goals, many of them either penalties, headers or tap-ins. His co-stars have often been world class. Robben, Ribery, Muller, Gnabry, Coman, Sane, Douglas Costa, Thiago, etc... These are top-notch players who frequently fed him with changes that most even half-decent strikers would put away. In his prime he wasnt really slow but he wasnt that pacey forward either. I would say that both Suarez and Benzema (both whom neither are known particularly for their pace anyway) were tad faster than him. Physicality? Yes, he has a ton of muscle and abs but he really isnt that big of a guy. A tad under six feet tall (trust me, they often add an inch or two to footballers, the same with actors. Take a look at him with guys like Neuer and Haaland, both of them 6-4, they tower over Lewa) and about 180 lbs. Thats not really a big fella by any means. He isnt a forward like Dzeko, Drogba or Lukaku who can fight of his markes. Technical ability? Well, he can do some one-twos with his fellow attackers but who cannot? He isnt in any way a dribbler and he really never pulls of an acrobatic finish or a volley like say Luisito did. No, his game is indeed rather one-dimensional. Great movement and often a clinical finisher but thats about it. He has a great hunger for goals (like CR7) which often sees him looking like a superman when facing cannonfodder opposition but when facing a top team, he often disappears and becomes a passenger. A fine player but sadly way too overhyped.
