If we don't take into account that backheel pass at the end, he wasn't great when it comes to goal chances. He needs to step up in the next games or the Pichichi might be out of reach.

Had a very good shot early on but Courtois was careful. The missed chance wasn't a sitter. Quite high, and the ball scraped past the head of a Barca player first.

Good game imo, and gave a lot of effort.

Also participated in the first goal with that run.

Xavi will stop having him running about like a fucking blue arse fly soon and allow him to stay more central and score goals when league is won if not already.

It is amazing the team have gone 12 pts clear considering he has two goals since October and left team down to ten away to Osasuna etc.

That's what having a talented and motivated manager means. You win even when key players are injured and/or off form. Starting to see the light?

Well you have it that when he loses it is down to injuries so no that logic falls flat.

Win its Xavi ..lose its injuries.

Saw that 'light' long ago.

Twelve points clear with a squad worse than Spurs is some going though eh!

A squad worse than Spurs ??? That's bullshit. You could make a case for Spurs when comparing the attacks, but our midfield and defence is way better than that of Spurs

He's for sure a great striker but he's having a bad time since his back from the World cup. I don't agree with people who underestimate just because of his current form and it's true that the canteranos are overprotected compared to him, and it's always been like that. I think we should stop complaining when we have players like Lewandowski in our team. He plays his football, he's pichichi, he scored in big games and we're winning the league. Now everybody should be playing for him to win the pichichi trophy 🏆. If he scores 20 league goals, it would be very good.

Buy a creative LW who's good at crossing and get a good mid like Gundogan or Bernardo, reduce RL9's pressing duties and he'll score way more.......after the BTS issues are solved that is...

I think his pressing duties won't reduce with Xavi as a coach. The CF of Barcelona has always had to be the 1st Defender of the team since Eto'o. That's one of the reason great strikers like Henry and Ibrahimovic failed here. Changing that aspect of the Barcelona's football philosophy means Xavi is giving up the tiki taka.

It is not as simple as that.. scoring goals is also part of being a striker and if him pressing is having an impact on that then there needs to be a better balance.

His lack of pace doesnt help him also when Dembele not there as teams can defend higher up and no be afraid so much of Barca hitting the space.

Raphinha doesnt have that threat.
