That is your conclusion, I did not say Lewy is better. Suarez is also a genius. Benzema too. Pointless to argue he was better among the three.
I never said Lewy wasn't a top player. I am saying his all-round game while decent, is overrated by guys like you. And outside of scoring he was good, not special.

You think Youtube videos - which highlight good and omit bad - prove anything.

The guy was a flat track bully who beat up on a one team league and consistently failed in Europe.
I disagree here.... remember when FCB was the hegemon in the Bundesliga and what happened when Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund and why Real Madrid wanted him so much, but Lewandowski honorably had a word with FCB.

Just don't rate him as much as some.

He's incredibly popular, one of the most popular footballers in the world, and somehow escapes criticism from everyone in football except this site.

That pass really pissed me off. A truly special player makes it easily. I think he'd have fucked it up in his prime too, he's never been a great passer.

This is just not true. In his prime he was a monster at holdup and first touch, all sorts of flicks and so on. Technique declines with age for many players.
He probably watched 2 full games of Prime Lewy.

He was famous for his technical ability and all round game. Managers like Pep and Klopp who didn't like traditional strikers loved Lewy's all round game and talked about him all the time. Klopp said last year that RL9 is easily the best player he has ever managed.

I watched loads of Bundesliga back then. Nice attempt to dismiss someone's opinion.

If anything you probably didn't because you seem the type to rate players while never watching them play.

also, appeals to authority from managers? Do better. Klopp is obviously high on his buck teeth if he thinks Lewy is the best player he's ever managed. Salah is comfortably better.

Salah is the prototypical "moments" player that racks up G+A. At least be consistent in your view of football

Also, has anyone ever had more favourable conditions to succeed than Lewandowski?

He played at the tip of the spear for by far the best team in the biggest one-team league ever.

Other than than impressive performance against RM for Dortmund he generally did little in the CL. People love to wank over his goal stats in the competition but can anyone name any games he truly made a difference (other than the aforementioned).

Tempt is a big Lewy fanboy so very biased. I like Lewy as a person and consider him extremely handsome, so have no ulterior motive in thinking he's an overrated (but great) player.

Yeah I'm sure Guardiola and Klopp loved RL9 based on YouTube videos and misleading compilations. As did Heynckes, Ancelotti, Flick and other great managers that tried to sign him numerous times like Ferguson, Tuchel and Mourinho.

The pure jealousy towards him is so obvious. It's hilarious at this point.
