Beside that chance at the beginning of the match, I thought he did as well as he could while playing one man down.

I'm not his biggest fan, often criticized his inability to win duels, but he did his part decently against Benfica.

Overall I think finishing is the only thing Lewa is still good at and playing in this system alongside Yamal, Raphinha and Pedri he'll always get into scoring chances. Remains to be seen if he'll actually score when we'll need him the most or go MIA in crucial moments.

But in all other aspects he's a dead weight for the team.
This is the thing his FANS and Haters can't seem to understand.
He's is doing his job, he's not excelling but he's doing alright.

I haven't really watch Isak a lot but he always looked good when I watched (for lack of life) Newcastle. He would be among top targets for me,

He’s too old bro

Is he though. Was too old, finished, good enough only for farmer league last year as well, then proceeded to crush the mighty LL for fun, and even while back in his too old state now, no one seems to do better still in scoring department.

But he's too old, got bad in December. Can't be teams focusing on him or setting up to stop him as a reaction. Can't be a dip in team performance, can't be countering of Flick system. Can't be change of seasons, which some people take harder than others, especially from countries with big weather swings. Can't be infection, or injury from the battering he receives in matches. Can't be calculated energy management, which he did even when much younger, to put up a fight where really needed. It's age.

Yes he will be too old at some point. How do you know it's now though, I bet you knew 2 times already, and been kind of proven wrong. Some benefit of the doubt maybe, on the ground of holding top scorer still, or team still winning with him in the squad? IDK

Isaak is good, but not consistent enough to pay anything above 70M for. 1 good game and than he has 3-4 very mediocre ones. Imho, luxury signing, we should be looking for a more if a goal-threat day in and out - but who that might be is up to out scouts because I don't see any player like that right out. We need to find a talent that would do great in out system and not pay +100m. These players are out there, we just need to be clever.

Can I ask? Do we still have Pau Victor in our team? If yes, is he injured? If not, why he does not get any minutes? Or, if that might not work at all, do we not have a good striker in second team to be tested out? Flick should try to do something as Lewanflopski will not get younger and better. Ferran Torres is not an option in my opinion, as he is very limited.
I would be curious how much victor Osimhen from Galatia might cost.

Let's see...the next match against Ossasuna on Saturday. Cool!

So, how many goals Lewandowski got in La Liga this season so far? 21 in 25 matches...not too shabby.

I tell you one little secret. He will play tomorrow and I will watch him play and shoot a goal or two, maybe three.

The dogs may bark, but the caravan moves on.

The answer is simple - not going to happen, because of Flick's favouritism. He's a very hearty, sentimental man, and they go a long way with flopski, sharing warm stories of old on long rainy evenings, which matters the most in cutthroat competition football. They also both speak German, and Flick only makes sense in German, the rest of the team gets information by sign language, drawings and pictograms. Last but not least, he's a stubborn old man who likes other stubborn old men, sharing the common fate of standing at death's door, and staring into the abyss of decline, where the abyss doesn't stare back, turning away in disgust.

Now, the blind, deluded, biased, misguided, bizarre Polish fanboys might tell you, that he had dozens of games in Bayern or NT where he looked bad, but scored the decisive goal, which kind of matters the most in the end. Also that strikers of his type might be prone to look bad in general, having fewer touches and less chances to redeem after bad plays, and that it doesn't always prove bad disposition. Maybe that the coach sees him in training and has generally a good idea of his fitness, speed, agility and other physical metrics. Don't listen to them though, they are blinded by his cock, and his cock is all they see. His cock is their dream, their goal, their measure, sacrum and profanum in the ultimate merge of aspects and dimensions.

I get that you’re frustrated with Flick’s choices, but this is a pretty over-the-top take. Sure, coaches have their preferences, and sometimes they stick with certain players longer than fans would like, but at the end of the day, their decisions are based on more than just sentimentality. Training performance, tactical fit, and past reliability all play a role. Also, the idea that communication only happens through sign language and pictograms is a fun exaggeration, but not really a serious argument. If a player keeps scoring decisive goals despite looking ‘bad’ in general play, that still matters. Strikers, especially poachers, often have fewer touches and rely on efficiency over style. It’s fair to critique a player’s performances, but dismissing everything as favoritism while making fun of fans who defend him isn’t really a strong argument either.

Lewandowski isn’t just a striker; he’s the apex predator in a world of spineless, TikTok-generation footballers who would rather do pointless stepovers than score goals. He doesn’t need to dribble past four defenders, he simply materializes at the right spot, like a cosmic event preordained by the gods of football. If Barcelona dares to let him go, they will lose their last connection to true, unfiltered, carnivorous goal-scoring.

Yes, and while I commend the freedom of speech etc, the idea that sweeping generalization of PL fans of Lewandowski as cock hypnotized, is just taken as standard posting here is kind of funny and sad the same time.

I'm a Polish Lewandowski fan(boy) btw
