today, it showed how utterly average he looks without barcelona midfield behind him. this would clear it to eto'o fan boys that you lot need to move on.

once he loses that speed (which it seems that he did slightly), he doesnt have the touch/heading/passing/intelligence to cut it like henry, ruud or inzaghi.

Oh please, Henry would look just as bad if not worse with that team behind him, in fact Henry's game relies much more on speed than Eto'o's.

Eto'o is what he is, we are clearly fine without him but to downplay his ability is just silly. Few strikers not named Zlatan would be able to do much playing for Mourinho's Inter.

I don't get why the fans were booing Eto'o every time he had the ball. Bad performance today, and we all get it since he was facing his former club from a few months ago, but he still should have tryed and scored even though we would have hated him.

Hell no. He failed each time the ball was passed to him. Straying offside/mispassing the ball/horrible first touch. Henry's game relies on touch, passing and breaking the offside trap at ease. Eto'o is far younger than Henry yet he cant do anything but run like a madman.

Milito did a much better job than Eto'o. Balotelli was doing a better job than Eto'o in his cameo.

No one is forgetting what Eto'o did for us but we were right to dump him for the :ibra:

I dont know what you guys are talking about. When Inter players came out to warm up, Eto did a mini lap around the stadium and he got a long ass standing ovation while he was pumping on his chest. The second standing ovation came after the announcer said his name and paused for atleast 10 seconds. It was very touching.

As for the game, we absolutly controlled the play. Dont think any striker in the world could have done something with that type of domination.

his passing, getting into spaces, ability to win defensive aerial challenges. excetra excetra. he was also the one that had a shot on target without any space.

i didnt say that he was impressive but he was better than eto'o throughout the night. also not to forget, he was one of the few that was able to run with the ball for a while (aka pedro's yellow card)

as i stated previously- the triumphant of ex barcelona players were shit: motta, eto'o and quaresma in that specific order.
