But imo the kind of stats you can expect now that he is a bit older and has lost his youthful explosive power and efficiency. Plus his touch lets him down. Remember that a couple of those goals have been penalties as well.
I still contend that he was right to have been let go by Pep.

I wonder too, I don't know if he would be what we need though, he was already wasteful enough last season (and yes, he scored a MASS of goals but the competition was much weaker than this season) and he would have been away for the ACN, which, considering our injuries and absences, may have been too much for us to handle.

He would definitely score more than Ibra. He might not have as much assists though. In the end of the day all it matters for us is which one is better for Barca and only at the end of the season will we be able to make a fair assessment.
I still contend that we all, including Pep, expected more from Ibrahimovic. Tito´s words about "crossing the ball to" are very indicative to what coaches expected.

And by the way, just to set the record straight. Mourinho didnt laugh about Eto´s dive. He laughed because he thought Inter was robbed as he clearly expressed it right after that same match.

god dam i love eto but slowly losing his speed was one reason to let him go but i would have gotten a better replacement than ibra in villa.

He's hardly gonna score goals like he did last season without the supporting cast of Xaviesta, Messi etc. The amount of goals that were put on a plate for him. With all due respect, he just won't get that service at Inter.

I read about this in SPORT recently. I don't think he's scored in a good while.

Lol, no way. Eto'o has more support at Inter this year than Zlatan had last year and he's not exactly banging in goals, he even has to dive to get a scoring oppurtunity.

the style of league is different people defend deep giving him no space to run into whereas ibra had room between the defence and midfield to work his magic.

he gets that much service at inter because both pandev and milito still score at inter.

No.

He'll never get the same service at another club. I'm not saying Inter are to blame for his poor form but you just can't compare the two sides as attacking forces. He could have scored 50 for us last season. He'll never get that many chances again.

True, inter play with two strikers hence the opportunities are divided yet one cant deny the factor that-

Diego Milito has 16 goals in 30 appearances
