One comment deleted: If someone is prepared to throw insults around then also don't be surprised if your post gets deleted.

Bojan and Gio, like a duet on a broken record. Yawn. Well done Samu, still the man for the big occasion, some of us can appreciate that without having to use it to bash one of our own players.

Where did I bash "one of our own players"?

You should edit that into:

Was that supposed to be funny or a dig at me and the work done here at the forum? Because if it was, it missed by a mile and I'm not worked up over what you think really. I don't have to explain that mods have acted on every insult that was spotted on the forum. Be it PMs, deleting, infractions, warnings or bans. Go ahead and ask anyone was he/she being left out when the insults occurred. And not only on insults but also many other stuff too as you should well know. Like that controversial Jesus pic you posted and then being fresh about it when I deleted it, just like now. So yeah, it's nothing new really. And then that "next one will get my dick in his ear" comment you made. I can imagine you don't like posts being deleted but rules are here to uphold. I don't remember insulting anyone on the forum. Same as 99,9 percent of other members. And way I see it, noone has a problem with the simple policy except few guys, but what can you do. You won't have a perfect record anywhere I guess.
That being said people here know how much times I reminded about the language and not getting personal and how many times infractions and warnings were sent over the misuse of language and how many times I had to intervene on PMs and reported posts. If you had any idea how much time and effort it took to build such a community and how much it takes to keep all egos in check and maintain the friendly atmosphere then you wouldn't have said that.
You're just ticked as you don't agree with me and then having a dig because I happen to own the forum. Just like you did on past few occasions when you breached the rules. And that's fine, well it's not really but do as you wish, it's not like I haven't heard funnier stuff being thrown around.

And btw. before you shouted "foul play".. Currently banned HOF, your pal, is out for insulting zanela (same infraction-insulting). And you shout over a deleted post while we have a member banned over a same infraction. Or take a look those banned permanently. viva for insulting females on a chat months ago. RedDevil who got into an argument with blueduck and what not, Snyde who was openly racist, or Mancs who got way too deep in insulting and whose head was asked for many times. And for every one of them, except viva, among mods, and for some on the forum, I campaigned to get them back and few of them got back just for them to get banned again. And see how many of them on that list were banned because of me. And it's not like I couldn't have done it or didn't had a reason because let me tell you one other thing, if I hadn't applied milder rules couple of times when I was insulted repeatedly by the same guy who did it again on the chat few days ago and few times in the past he would also be out for good. But I haven't done that for the exact reason that I don't want to put myself in any position where I would favor myself. Had he done that to anyone else he would have been history long ago.
So much for me applying the rules to accommodate myself.

To conclude. I'm not the slightest deterred with 1 or 2 complaints from guys that have a history of breaking the rules and being fresh about it. All in a days work.

Even when Eto scores an important goal ibra steals a lot of the spotlight, you guys are too funny. :D

I dont even like him that much and think hes been pretty off the whole season (and love ibra) - yet even I want to give him this spotlight.

Magnifico ETO! ETO! What a player-he is a BIG match player. Even before his goal he worked his behind off and defended unlike that lazy ass Ibra who we broke the bank for. And we sold Samu off due to 'a feeling'?! I have 'a feeling' Ibra will not even be half the player Samu was for Barca.

No offence, but I think I just had enough. First of all, it's an Eto'o thread and most likely established to discuss the player himself without inflammatory and somewhat rather naive jibes caused by a sudden whims of mood change at our current players. It's not to say that Ibra has been marvelous and incredible signing so far, but I'd rather have at least a somekind of a margin of appreciation to those who still wear the "Blaugrana".

I understand it is an internet forum where discussions on different issues are open for all of us to participate in and to give our contribution, that is indeed what an essence of fora is all about, right? However, some have not managed to contribute a zilch for the past few months and have been on a mad rant about how they miss something that is not there and are not even ready to back a player when he is going through a rough patch. Patience is a virtue, not all apparently have but that's somewhat comprehendable for there are important competitions at stake. Yet, I would want to remind you that it's not only Ibra who has been having a slump but a whole team in general, save a handful few. The cold fact is, we're stuck with Ibra for some while now and let's instead make use of what we have instead of longing for something what we could have had. It really doesn't pay off.

Just one simple request to most of you, let's not turn every Samu or Ibra thread into "I hate him/I miss him", as it's seriously getting tad repetetive.

He played rather poor, in my opinion. But he scored a decisive goal so who cares?

I completely agree with Plip too. I think this thread needs some:

I'm so happy that Samuel scored. I had begun to wonder if it was going to be his night after a couple of missed chances and him going to ground a few times. I'm very glad that it was him that scored the goal for the team. All the kudos to him and Inter for an entertaining game. The best team won, IMO.

I'm a sucker for celebrations and when Marco approached Samuel after the game and went "Eto'o! Ayyyy! and picked Samuel up patted his back I was pleased to see it! Maybe it's just a girl thing but I hope he is settling in well there.

Lovely post Plip. Very levelheaded :)
