Pajo, you're wasting your time trying to sing Motta's praises...Every Barca fan knows Thiago quite well, he strikes fear in no culé

Samu, on the other hand, we know he's going to be a key issue to contend with

Eto'o is definitely man for big matches.. IMHO your defense is slow, and Eto'os speed might be a problem. And as we saw tonight, Sneijder is not the only player that can pass well at Inter... ;) Motta is finding his form from Genoa once again. If it wasn't for the injuries, he could have easily been one of the best midfielders in the world ATM, if not the best.
you just sunk 3 levels... Claiming that thiago motta, the same shitty player that played for us, is the best AM in the world? Even kaka, off form is levels above him. Iniesta, cesc, messi, david silva (when playing am) is 500x better.
Hell even sneijder is better.

Beast i will reply to you tomorrow cuz im on my cellphone it takes so much time and im easy irritated lol.

Girls get offended on forums, which is why i try to only use negative words against them when necessary... but me? From a madrista? Come on

Motta ain't AM, you have something mistaken.. He is CM/DM..

Anyway, yes, I do believe that if it wasn't the injuries he would've been one of the best.. Just like Recoba could have.. Now it is too late for him to develop, but once was regarded as one of the best talents, by Barca team especially.
I never liked Motta though, but lately he proves me wrong by some games.. Especially since Chelsea's second leg up to this day.

I'm not trying to scare you FCBarca, just saying that there is someone else besides Sneijder that can pass the ball ;)

EDIT: barcetia, you said "hell, even Sneijder is better" ?
Sneijder ATM is one of the top5 AM in the world...

We're dangerously close to going wholly off topic here Pajo but Motta is not among the top anything due to injuries...Healthy or not, he's incredibly inconsistent and only rarely gives in a memorable performance, IMHO...I actually think Italy suits him better than a more technical league because his ball skills are inadequate (Which is saying something for a Brasilian mid)...Problem is, defensively he's a train wreck...Best I've ever seen him for any stretch of time was during his stint at Genoa, he more closely resembles the player he was at Barca now at Inter...I've seen him plenty this season, he's not a player to factor into this tie except negatively, IMHO

For me, Motta remains a small club player.

It's a shame, actually, that McDonald isn't given more of a chance right now because he's a helluva lot better at doing what Motta attempts to do

We'll see.. I was thinking the same before the Chelasea game.. His job there was dirty, but he was great at that game, and since than... :)

Anyway, agreed about the off topic, sorry for that.. Let's just leave it, this is Eto'os thread :)

He was easily Inter's best player vs. Fiorentina. He played as a central striker as Milito started from the bench, maybe that was it.

His finishing was a little bit unconvincing though, taking into account the position he had in the penalty area. He almost missed another sitter again.

True.. As we know, THAT is his best position.. So far he has 15 goals for Inter, and he plays on the wing, rarely gets his chance and has to defend.. Runs like crazy all over the pitch, i am starting to love him :D I bet if he had played as CF all the time he would have scored 10 more.

It's good for him and us that he is getting his confidence back, he has lost it after the African Cup. That goal vs chelsea was crucial, and after that he scores almost in every game. Bravo Eto'o!

So sorry m8, I read your post totally wrong. Thought "ATM" was "AM" and that's why I reacted the way I did.
Well, the competition for worlds best CM is even harder.
Gerrard, Xavi, Fabregas, Xabi Alonso,
Busquets is better than Motta for instance and many don't even include him as top10 in the world.

I don't rate Sneijder as highly as some do. He's on form, but he's not top5 imo.

Rating some player is of course personal opinion, so i can't say you are wrong or right.. But me, and many more think that Sneijder ATM and in this form is in the top AM.. Inter got totally new dimension of playing when he came, and IMHO it was the best 15 mils ever spent in the world of football :)

As for Motta, yes, he ain't in the top 10 that's for sure, he is inconsistent and stuff, he can play 1 game for 10, others for 1.. my point was, if it wasn't all those injuries in his career, all those up and downs, he would have been one of the best. When fit for longer than 5 matches he is playing great, and he'll get inured again. That was the case throughout his all career :)
I hope he can prove you wrong in our next clash though ;)

@Olsend, he won't save any cule :p You literally forced him out of the club, and IMHO, he'll be motivated as hell to show you that it was mistake to sell him. I hope he can give you some troubles..

Yeah, Pajo, Samu is a player that plays quite well with a healthy chip on his shoulder...And I'm sure he's got a sizable one for Barca, atm
