If he was to leave this summer then it would only be to either City, Chelsea or Madrid as they are the only ones that would stump up the cash imo.

Well he's obviously not going to go back to Madrid, so that leaves Chelsea and us. If he went to Chelsea I doubt he would play every game (although we don't know if Ancelotti will change their usual formation) unless Drogba leaves.

If he joined us he would play nearly every game, get the $$$ but with no european footy. He's won CL twice so maybe he's had enough?

I would blatantly have him at City as he's twice as good as any of our current CF.

I still think he will stay and run out his contract though.

Tevez?-----------Robinho
---------Eto'o?----------

Inter were supposed to be interested in him as well.

It needs to be a club who could pay his wages but if Inter get rid of Zlatan, they may think Eto'o is a bargain, lol.

Surely milan would be an option if they sell kaká.

You would of thought so, but Galliani has said that they lost £70 million last season so maybe it is just to cancel out any debts.

But with Eto'o on his last year of his contract £25 million would probably be enough for anyone to sign him.

I would buy somebody world class who is below 26, because they would not need to be replaced for years.

The thing is will Eto'o ever be cooperative with any deals coming our way? I just dont think it'll be as easy as Ronaldinho's sale. We will never offer him higher wages so that rules out a contract extension. He will never accept to be part of a swap deal involving a new striker. So whats the most likely scenario? He'll probably milk out his final year and then leave as a free agent choosing any team he wants. I'll be very impressed by our managment if they manage somehow to sell. We'll see...

Eto'o was on a plane towards Manchester today, so it seems that he's cooperative.
And by the way, he doesn't have much choice: Or he leaves, or he stays, and isn't in Pep's plans... So there is a big chance that he could be benched for the season, and that is something he doesn't want, i guess...
