Do you think you need 2 or 3 players at circa 30m euros each or would you prefer spending the money on 4 or 5 players who are on the tier below, but would give you some solidness to the squad and could challenge for a europa league? Or are you happy/satisfied with the squad and would prefer the next tier up players who'll cost circa 30m euros but you could only get say 2 of those?

Allegri achieved third place with an inferior squad to this one back in 12-13, so it can be done with no major changes, the crap needs to be gone, squad trimmed down & see where we are, i think the goalkeeper/defense is fine, certainly for just the one competition, i'd say a midfielder or two is needed, Montolivo/De Jong should both be starting, but Montolivo must start infront of the defense, this is where he shines, De Jong's role needs to be alot more limited, so a midfielder to compliment these two, i'd say somebody in the mold of Nainggolan.

If we are going to play diamonds, which seems to be the case, then a proper #10, although Bonaventura/Honda aren't the worst, even Suso. Maybe this to be adressed later down the line & not immediate

I think a top forward needs to be signed, even though i dislike him, Zlatan would make a big difference for a low fee, very short term but he comes with guarantee's. I personally like Dzeko too, and think he can be got. Milan can't afford another season of no European football, it will hurt & the competition in Serie A is getting stronger, they'll be a good 6-7 teams vying for the top 2-3 for sure.

Someone like Max Meyer or Dzagoev would be ideal No.10's to build the team around.

I think a diamond formation is the way to go with Montolivo and Suso part of that. So you'll need a Gattuso like figure I think. Someone like Nainggolan, Witsel, Kramer or Song would be ideal also.

I still think you need a centre back though.

Well i'm sure you know more about Suso than i do, in his limited minutes he looks pretty good to me, i hope he gets his chances, maybe at CM.

It's been said that we will use the diamond as it's Berlusconi's favorite formation (and mine) it's been our success in the past and is us really. I think De Jong can be somewhat of a Gattuso like figure as the side CM, although he's not as good or aggressive, he could still do well. Although i still expect to see him start as the DM, which has shown the past two and a half seasons, it really doesn't work, his role needs to be much more limited. I agree with the suggestions

The problem is we've so many wingers now, so it really needs to be decided how we're going to play & the transfer strategy built around that, if we are truly going with the 4-3-1-2 then off with the wingers, they are no use, cash in on El Sharaawy because he doesn't fit, also make the most of Niang, who i think is the most talented youngster at the club, no excuses if he isn't used this year, it would be ridiculous

Mentioning Gattuso, i'd love him to come as an assistant, to see him on the sidelines barking would be priceless, i miss his face.

Hearing that Milan have agreed personal terms with Bacca. Would be a very good signing - but will you agree to meet his price which is around £21m?

I like Suso as well and if it weren't for the abundance of midfielders we have I'd have been disappointed in losing him. However I think he made the right career choice in going to Milan and will be able to get game time and develop even further. I think he can work in the diamond formation because he has the technical skill to do so. However he's a bit lightweight and would need a protector alongside him ala a Gattuso like player.

Do you think El Sharaawy can be converted more into a central forward than a wide forward? Because if there is the possibility to do so, then I'd keep him.

I wouldn't believe anything you read/hear until it's done, you'd be wasting your energy.

He's a good striker but would be a bit of an underwhelming signing to me, also if it was go go through, he'd be our fourth most expensive signing after Nesta, Inzaghi & Rui Costa Lol, look at those names to compare. Ridiculous prices for standard players, ugly

Not many signing would get me G'd up to be fair, football is at a low point IMO, couldn't even handpick you a CB i'd like, a couple names for midfield, & there are very few CF's either. Most in the false 9 mold which i can't stand, ditto wingers. Personal thing though.

Very few actual characters/personalities too

I think Shaarawy is a wide player through and through, i'd much rather us focus on Niang, who i believe is far more talented, just a bit more raw

It sounds like they have agreed terms with Sevilla too, not just the player. But yeah, with Milan at the moment you don't believe anything until it's official. Supposedly agreed terms for Bertolacci too.

So they'll be coming to Inter then.

I think that is what Milan lack. Players with real character.

We have signed Carlos Bacca, Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar & Bertolacci so far, three decent signings.

Pazzini left on a free :( need a new sig, i'll get on it, Bonera left, Muntari, Essien! + others, going to be a big overhaul
