Adama Traore

Rumour is swap with Trincao.

Adama total transfer fees are almost equal to Trincao so it is ok in terms of market values. Profile wise we have Collado who has a similar style with arguably better mentality.

But to be honest, Trincao can develop into a very good player if we can find a spot for him next season to develop more or a loan. Villarreal type of club (although they done nothing for Kubo).

Yeah I wouldn't want to get rid of Trincao without a buyback option, but he isn't really needed right now and he could use playing time.
The squad doesn't need both Adama and Dembele, and if there is another deal with Dembele leaving, it could make sense.

Collado and Adama instead of Trincao and Dembele won't be too much difference, and if it is economically good as well then why not?
At the moment, these players have Messi, Griezmann, Fati, Depay and Aguero in front of them in the pecking order for 2/3 spots, and Coutinho and Braithwaite to deal with as well.

We are in bad situation, when Adama will improve our squad. Still offers more then Dumbele and Portugese who is not play by Koeman.

Trincao is technically better than Adama but with many forwards here, he only has chance as a sub. And he is pretty useless as a sub. Adama is better as a sub in last 20-30 mins.

Trincao should go on loan to play regularly over the next year or two and then we can see how he'll develop. Would be silly to give up on him so easily considering we'll probably need 4-5 new attacking players in two years when Messi, Kun, Memphis, Dembele and Griezmann will most likely all be gone. Ansu is probably the only one still here in 2023/24 and even he has uncertain future because of injuries. But now that it seems Dembele will stay one way or another for next season those 6 players should be enough.

IF we'd give up on Trincao now I'd prefer it to be for a class CB or midfielder who can help us right away not for another backup winger with less potential than him.

Adama is just Dumbele 2.0 without injuries. Low football IQ with no end product.

Trincao right now is the slower version of Dembele so not much better. Wouldn't mind him going on loan though. Or better, sale with a buyback.

With a loan you run the risk of various things that could devalue him. Injuries, poor performances, bad fit.....not being able to adapt.

I like Trincao, but I wouldn't cry if we move on. Simply don't think he's that big of a talent.

Not sure Adama for Trincao is it though. Surely there must be better options where we can sign a winger that is actually rapid and can dribble past a player without losing the ball right after.

Agree with you. I prefer a loan move for Trincao but if Wolves really offer a swap then i think Barca will take it. Not even mention Adama is from Masia.

Some mention Collado but honestly he is even less talented than Trincao. He will have no position as either forward or midfielder, unless he does something incredible pre season.

Trincao plus cash for Pedro Neto wouldn't be a bad idea.

We're shipping Trincao because there's not enough playing time to get. What says Adama is going to get a place?

If we sell Trincao and don't go after Adama, we should look at Moussa Diaby from Leverkusen. Also do a double deal and get Edmond Tapsoba while we are at it.

Huge upgrade.

Nah, Trincao is not an "absolute trash bag of a player." You are pretty dumb if you really mean this. He is a promising winger.

Then you're an idiot man. There is nothing promising about this guy. Slow weak can't create can't dribble literally 0 promise. Sorry you're an idiot and think someone with those attributes has any promise.

You are not very good at watching football. Trincao is a great dribbler, but he is indeed slow. He could develop into a Mahrez-level player, but he's not going to get the gametime at Barca so best we loan him out or swap with another winger.

Sign of the times when we are linked to this guy..

Trincao may not make it here, if he is to leave you gotta sell him not swap him for Hulk Dembele 2.0. Barca should be looking to improve the squad

Mahrez is not one trick pony. He is very skilled.

Trincao just cuts inside. He is much slower a d less agile combined with not being skiller.

Not too much space for improvememt.
