It was like Messi’s against Levante and Maradona’s against England.... minus about 5/6 opposition players and shot outside the box instead of inside the box taking on the keeper. So all in all nothing like Messi’s and Maradona’s it started from around the same area of the pitch that’s about it. Great goal nonetheless.

Great goal, maybe it's the start of his career getting back on track as he's had a couple of tame years. The lack of football towards the tail end of his PSG career somewhat disrupted his progress.

Exactly . He was barely attacked. Basically 1 dribble, and 1 shot, and the rest is him running unbothered with Milan players jogging around him at slow speed.

When did Serie A defending get so bad? I remember watching Serie back in 2010-2012 and defending was very solid. Defenders positioned nearly perfectly and making all necessary clearances. Now it's basically Bundesliga level defending.
