No he isnt rubbish and would add power and strength to the midfield as well as good technical level.

He doesn't even stand out whatsoever in Ligue 1 which is a huge step down from La Liga. The one thing we need in this midfield is someone a step above our other players who can come in and improve the offensive play of the starting 11 from the get go. Not another squad player with questionable skills. In an ideal squad we have Arthur/Aleña as high quality role players and Rakitic as a utility man. We need to reach higher highs not just have slightly better rotation players.

Why would members hate him for saying his opinion? He is actually making good points, you can never value the impact of a player based on Pep, the one who did not keep Kroos. Rabiot is an excellent player and he is not a reject, the only issue is his attitude. But with Barcelona and Messi that could be fixed. Saying that though, I am against signing him because I do not believe that we need CMs and also there is not anyone who is worth betting on. I would get a new attacker, preferably a LW, Martial.
