I don't think it's a question of forgetting his defensive duties just that they are far weaker than his offensive ones...He's a better option as a winger than defender IMHO

That will be fixed when he gets more play time. He just started playing in a new team from being inactive for 6 months.

He will improve over time no doubt as the more games he gets to play the more the Rust shakes off and his overall Contribution improves. It's pretty Exciting really to have him here I mean sure no one can be Alves but Vidal could be a solid successor to him when the time comes.

He was really, really good and so far been a great transfer. If he can keep the same level against the elite teams then we got absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to the RB position.

He'll grow more in the role and get better defensively too.

Best RB we had in the last decade except for Dani Alves. He is better than I thought in offence. What he lacks is some of that Alves playmaking abilities and those short first touch passes, but I'm convinced by him. Nobody expects him to be Dani Alves anyway.
