Maybe you are right, it would just amaze me. We weren't desperate when we signed him, so if he negotiated too high wages it is only our own fault.

Not that it matter much, as we screwed ourselves over either way.
Edit: just checked transfermarkt, and it says 19M.
This has been going on for many years under various administrations. Hleb situation was exactly like Song, and countless others as well. And people think we can just ship everyone off to China for great prices. Not gonna happen.

I think no one is deluded enough to expect a transfer fee for Song, not even from a chinese club.
But everybody just wants him GONE. For good!

According to "Turkish Football" he has agreed to a 3-year contract 1.5M/y with Galatasaray.
Now the clubs need to negotiate a transfer-fee, but I would be surprised if it is anything but a symbolic one.
