Thats just what Barca do, converting midfielders into CB. It kinda worked with Mascherano, but why do the club expect it to work every time? Why not just buy a CB instead?

I'd imagine if a reporter asked about Alex song during a Barcelona press conference the reaction would be.
Seems like the Club wants to forget we ever even signed him. I think it will be the same once Douglas leaves as well.

No it isn't, we don't know the details, but on a loan deal there's a risk of us paying some of his wages.
