I watched the whole game. Another great Glasgow Derby in a great atmosphere. Loved every minute of it.

Those that want Valle to play here need to know that the boy CANNOT defend for toffee. It was the same when he played in pre season for us.

In his first action, he let Vaclav Cerny, who can barely kick the ball with his right foot, cut in and shoot on his left foot. Something, Greg Taylor didn't allow once while he was on. Ridiculous defending.

And his attacking is not some Trent level where it will make up for him being so bad defensively.

Forget about him.

Harsh IMHO as I have watched just about every minute of his loan at Celtic thus far. Defensively, he hasn’t had much to do which perhaps would’ve benefitted from a different club/league since they dominate possession against most opponents. I bet most of his heat maps have him in the opponents half

All 3 Rangers goals were result of deep turnovers, wouldn’t lay blame to Valle for the 2nd goal that went for a corner from Cerny’s save

Yeah it was a fun game and the Rangers fans were singing like mad. It's just a shame about that one moron throwing the coin at Engels.

I enjoyed it though. I don't support Rangers anymore, and the quality of football isn't good, but you see the odd flash of good play - mostly from Cerny and Hagi yesterday - and it is a very cauldron like atmosphere whether at Ibrox or Celtic Park.

I don't have an opinion on Valle really as have only seen him a few times. Respect everyone's opinion in here though.

Agree the quality isn't the best, but what sets it apart from most derbies these days is the attacking intent. Both sides go for it from the first whistle. There is none of that caution you see from the big derbies across Europe ( especially England )

It's like a throw back to the 90s. Tactics thrown out the window in favour of an end to end basketball match. And as for atmosphere, it far surpasses anything in England. The atmosphere in English derbies is laughable in comparison.

Barca Real match it in terms of attacking intent, but that is only because of Barca.

Betis Sevilla is the best atmosphere in Europe, at the Benito Villamarin, but there is hardly any football played in that game these days.

Boca River is the best atmosphere in the world but that game is also torture to watch.

Only Feyenoord Vs Ajax at the De Kuip can match the old firm for atmosphere plus ATTACKING intent.

I've not missed one Glasgow Derby in the last 7 years and can hardly remember a boring one. Very underrated derby and would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen one.

No I'm not Scottish. I'm as interested as what goes on in the stands as what happens on the pitch, and that why I'm interested in all the World's derbies.

I would genuinely rather watch a crap game in a electric, hostile atmosphere, than a great game in a dead atmosphere. Which is why I have kind of tuned out of Barca until they get back to the Camp.

Everyone says German atmospheres are great, but I find them incredibly boring, robotic and repetitive. Italian derbies don't have that same intensity or hatred.

The Andalusian derby used to be my favourite around 15 years ago when both teams actually knew how to play football. But today I find La Liga, outside of Barca, unwatchable.

Feyenoord Ajax at the De Kuip is like travelling back to the 90s. Wouldn't miss that game for the world, especially now Feyenoord have the upper hand for a change.

Have also enjoyed Liverpool smashing United the last few years, but the atmosphere compared to other European derbies is frankly terrible.

So you mean like Balde? Can't count the times where he just lets attackers run past, doesn't even try to get a tackle in.

Barca is effectively playing with 2.5 defenders, depending on if Kounde shows up and the offside trap works.

According to the likes of Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Como have established contact with the representatives of Alex Valle, who Como consider a massively promising prospect at left-back.

Como could be handed a boost in their pursuit of the 20-year-old if Celtic complete their reported move for Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, who could return to his boyhood club after five years away in North London.

Would make sense since he's not playing regularly at Celtic. Alberto Moreno got injured in last game and Como's other LB is also out. According to MD Barca is not willing to sell so we'll only consider loaning him until summer and then re-evaluate situation.

Definitely a shrewd move and I suspect the player is behind the push to go to Como, under Cesc, in the Serie A where his defensive attributes will be properly showcased vs Celtic where he was playing most of the time in the opponent’s half

Ambitious player, advocated for a loan in pre-season despite being counted on after being on loan - knowing it is important to play, hence a 2nd loan with Celtic fortifying at FB knowing Valle had zero option to continue there

He was excellent, IMHO, at Celtic but again mostly on the offensive side of the ball as he was rarely forced to play much defense

There‘s a terrific player in there, we’ll see how 2nd half of season goes for him in Serie A and hopefully he’ll convince in pre-season else pretty clear he would be sold
