Because Henry is Henry and Hleb is Hleb, you can't compare these 2 players...Beside that, Henry had personal problems with his ex wife, he seen his daughter only few times in a year...

True, another factor that i'm sure we all now was Henry not adapting to the Spanish language and game, so maybe, like Henry, next season, Hleb will improve alot and we will start to see the "Old" Hleb that we knew and loved ;)

Henry is French, so the culture and language are very close. Hleb is from Belarusia
I'm sorry, but I never really apprieciated him when he was on 'top' at Arsenal. I think Meta is right, we should sell Guddy and Hleb and get 1 good midfielder. Maybe Hernanes, but seriously are São Paulo asking for €35 millions?

I think that's his buy out clause, so it's natural that they beef it up a little. IMO a fair price would be €15-20, €25 would be the max that I think we should pay; which incidentally was what SP demanded last year. But with Milan out of the picture, I think we can lower it to €20 + a couple of millions based on performance, or maybe even less.

yeah i think its safe to assume hleb will join the ranks of the esteemed group of barca WORLD CLASS flops. the reason for the "floppyness" are many but the list grows, and includes the likes of juan roman riquelme, quaresma etc etc....................

sell him off now

The "old Hleb" would not be fit to tie Xavi or Iniesta's shoelaces. He would still sit on the bench.

REMEMBER THIS when we bought him LAST YEAR:

Hleb signs four-year deal

www.fcbarcelona.cat

Aleksandr Hleb has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract with FC Barcelona on Wednesday afternoon after joining the club from Arsenal and became the fifth new arrival of the summer.

The 27-year-old signed the deal that ties him to the Blaugrana until 2012 on the same day that he arrived in the Ciutat Contal and underwent a rigorous medical exam at the club.

President Joan Laporta and Hleb sealed the agreement shortly before 8pm local time in the offices of the club and prepared for the presentation to the media shortly afterwards.

€90m buy-out clause

The price of the transfer was agreed at €15m between FC Barcelona and Arsenal, with a further €2m depending on the number of trophies the player wins during his time at the club. The fee of the buy-out clause in his contract stands at €90m.

Three years in London

Hleb arrived in Barcelona from Arsenal after spending three seasons with coach Arsène Wenger at the north London club, where he was a regular fixture in the side.

After starting his career with BATE Borisov in Belorussia, Hleb moved to VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga in 2001 and impressed enough to earn himself a move to the Gunners.
