Anxiously waiting for the next match
Ok... it's a way... am I wrong or you don't really want Hleb close to the first team?

I am not sure, I liked him at Arsenal thought he was good at not losing the ball ever... but he just never fit in, i think he can bring something to the team yes... but not really a loss of any kind if he leaves..
i dont hate him or have strong feelings of like for him

For someone who doesnt offer enough productivity playing him as a WF in our system was the wrong move. And when he was rarely deployed in Midfield, it was in the small games and alongside the big boys he wasn't compatible with and his confidence had already taken a beating. Dont remember him being given time with Xavi/Iniesta in midfield. He is actually a neat player and personally consider him as a bck-up for either of our creative midfield slots. Definitely better than Keita as Iniesta's backup. I know they are diff type of players. Keita for all his work rate, closing down space and winning ball offers naught going forward and tht deficiency has marred some of our tighter matches. We could 've certainly used him against Inter in the semis when the african looked clueless with his aimless running and lack of tactical nous. Hleb keeps the ball and distributes better, greater vision, dribbling, creativity, can make a telling pass and add more to our build-up. All of which would've been more helpful last season. He's better suited to our possession play than the Malian who can't be relied upon always.
I still remember tht fantastic pass to Henry on the counter which set up Messi's goal in '08 Clasico. A glimpse of wht the Belarusian can offer us consistently if used correctly and given confidence by the manager. My first choice behind xaviesta.

Hleb is a good technical player and his his close ball control is amazing, I thought he would fit right in at Barca. If you make better use of him he can still be a great asset.

Just don't ask him to shoot.

I loved Hleb when he was with us. The way he linked up with Cesc and created chances out of nowhere was brilliant. He's obviously not a goalscorer, but is capable of eliminating a number of defenders and bringing the ball forward into the right places. He's also a confidence player, so sitting on the bench hasn't helped. I'm sure if he's given another chance he can show you guys what he can do.

Another chance probably means playing him out on the wing again. Especially if we bring in Cesc. He's a wasted talent at the club.

Why the hell haven't we sold him yet. We could still get about £5-10m for him I reckon, would go towards the Cesc fund.

Interesting. Could it be we cant find a club who would pay that money for him? As an outsider looking in, I would have thought a few clubs would have been in the market. Any way, if he stays, he could prove to still be a viable option.

Screw Cesc, give JDS and Thiago a chance and if it doesn't work out, Hleb isn't that bad in the midfield.
