Alexis Sanchez

If we sell Alexis it's because we get a good classic #9 and Messi starts on the right. Neymar had the LW covered and Pedro can play both sides so me thinks the board might cash in on Sanchez especially with the rumors Pep is interested.

This would be a great way to solve many of the Barca's attack issues !
But the management is way too incompetent for that sort of manouver..

Sorry about that, I'll try to be sober here.

So, tello, fcbdna, et al., what exactly is it that is so terrible about Alexis? Last season, sure, I could've understood your point, even though I wouldn't necessarily have agreed with it. But this season? His stats are through the roof, and even discounting them, I think it's obvious that he does a good job most of the time. Aside from his on-field antics, he seems like a model professional off the field as well. He's rarely, if ever, in the media for the wrong reasons, and I don't think I've heard any of his 3 Barca coaches moan about him (except for that one time, where Pep yelled at him for getting injured...).

What is it that compells you guys to constantly and relentlessly bitch and moan about the jugadorazo?

I didn't complain of him thoroughly for a long time now. I only stated I would sell him if I'd get the chance. The idea of selling him, put Messi on the right and buy a nice good #9 is a nice way to adress the issues of the Barca's attack while not speding a fortune on a striker since we could get some nice money in exchange of Alexis.

Obviously he isn't playing as good as in the first part of the season when he totally amazed almost everyone ( me included, but let's not forget we waited for that moment to happen for two entire seasons at the time ). Furthermore of his drop in form that started after the winter break, now that Messi finally got back he seems to slowly get to the old Alexis we all knew and complained of.

Like I usualy say I really hope he disprove my concerns and be decisive in important games like he was against R€al, for example in the Shitty tie but I'm circumspect about that.

I think Alexis should be sold cause we'll get a good chunk of change from in that we can use to invest in a Player that we've had everytime we've won the CL in modern times a CF who can play on the wing (Think Villa,Eto'o and Henry) and I personally rather Pedro.

Alexis is a winger who can hold the ball, take on his marker, show immense workrate and score goals. He is one of Europe's best wingers, face it. Some people don't want to see Alexis succeed, but don't bash him when he is having is best season so far.

Messi will never be back to rw in a permanent basis. I'd only be OK with selling Alexis if an obscene offer was made. At least 50m.

Alexis and Pedro resemble too much as type of players and that's not what Barca needs in the attack imo, we really need variations, we need to be dangerous apart from Messi who is the only real threat against tougher opposition but who can get easely blocked nowadays.

For a exaple a CF who can play in the wing too. The two do a great job tracking back, pressing the opponents, etc but they are not real threats in front and neither good scorers and they both play poorly when Messi is in in order to try to serve him well...

This season they scored more because Messi was out for so long and it was their job to put the ball into the net but since Messi is back we'll more and more see the older Alexis and Pedro again...

Alexis would bring us the best amount of money of the two. I'd also say sell Pedro instead of Alexis if it weren't for those economical issues but since we can't match R€al's financial power when it comes to sums spent on new players we could try something like this.
