So adjust the system so that we get more space, it is the solution to revive Barca and get the best out of our players. Cesc,Neymar,Alexis,Messi would all shine more.

Tata tried that and it did work but then Xavi went full possession mode and took over as manager.

Imagine we didn't have a football philosphy and played the standard counter attacking 4-2-3-1 with Ney, Cesc, Leo and Alexis the front four. Busi and Masch double pivot. We would probably win the champions league. (A couple defenders needed though).

I dont see why we cant mix it up, play a possesion based style but also have ways to create space and counter.
Just give teams the bal and lean back a little at times and counter.
A style should be changing forever not just one thing and continue to stick with it even if others found answers for it, it needs to continue evolving.

You can't play possession football (This is what our team is doing, we can't call it Tiki Taka) and have more spaces. Every team in the world park the bus against Barcelona and they will continue to do so unless we change completely our philosophy, which won't happen ; Lucho said that if his team could have 100% possession it would be perfect.

Also, the problem with our team is that we can't play counter - attacking football because it means that you have to defend and get the ball quickly ; the likes of Xavi and Iniesta are awful at defending and leave a lot of space in their backs.

We're stuck with "possession football" as long as we'll have those players who can't provide you another way of playing football.

His two assists last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RePYp643hf8

And still we have people in here, who claim that Alexis doesn't possess a "football brain" or some silly crap like that.
Also, that trademark dribble before the second assist. With his back to the opponent, he's one of the best dribblers in the world. If only he was as efficient when turned 180 degrees.

So you would sell Iniesta and keep Cesc? And you would think that we would win the CL, until you see in in which positions Neymar and Alexis play with their NTs, where they're at their best, and where Cesc and Messi need to play(all of them need absolute freedom and most of them need to play as a no.10/false 9/2nd striker to be at their best). So my belief is that at this point we need a true no.9 as much as we need a defender.

I picked Cesc because it's a counter attacking lineup. Obviously Andres is better. My idea was Neymar on the left like he plays for Brasil, Alexis in the right and Cesc and leo swapping between the nine and ten positions (this works because they understand eachother well).

How many times it actually worked against big teams? At this point I would rather replace Cesc with a no. 9.

don doesn't struggle, he just has to deal with the struggles of others.

Yeah, I don't know why he would say that when Iniesta had his best games against teams like Chelsea, Holland 2010 or Portugal.
