Alexis Sanchez

Who's this?
Pedro.

Him smashing the EPL does not mean it is a mistake to sell him.

Pretty much everyone expects him to do well.

It is a misstake becuse he has been a very good performer, especially last season. He was a beast at the WC which indicates he will keep performing. And also, players of lesser quality get to stay, and hell even deemed untransferable.

Suarez is about to come and he is banned until like the beginning of november. The attacking trident will consist of Messi, Neymar and... Pedro fml. And Neymar wont even be able to play when the league starts so guess it will be Pedro, Messi and Deulofeu.

They lost a player of great quality and im pretty sure they will regret it.

Sport is saying Wenger met Alexis here in Brazil. He told him he'd wouldn't be cheap and pay the money Barça wanted, and assured him he'd adapt easily to the epl. Smart by Wenger, if true.

They are not selling him because he is shit or they think Pedro is better.

Sanchez was decent last season but far from amazing. His stats dont tell the whole story and he in all honesty did not look like he fitted in as a RW.

Correct decision to sell him and try a new attacking approach.

Calma, calma
I think a front line of Villa/Suarez-Messi-Alexis would be great but Neymar's arrival pretty much spelt goodbye to Sanchez. On this forum, he has been either hyped way too much or had unintelligible criticism thrown at him, so I'm glad that he's gone.

Good luck at Arsenal, just hope for your sake they get a better striker.

Alexis wasn't treated badly at all. He just didn't fit in with a system meant to get the best out of Messi. Udinese built their team around him and Arsenal will too. Plus the Premier League is much more open ended and counter-attack prone. He'll find more space to attack and produce moments of magic.

Just told him what the player wanted to hear. You don't need to be smart to do that actually… knowing Arsene's experience, this is easy business for him.
Ahhhhhhhh can't believe it… it'll make me angry to watch Alexis in another shirt. Gonna support Chelsea in PL next season :mou: :p
