Cillessen is actually a good option for them for 40-50 million although he doesn't seem like a shot stopper type? Didn't watch him at Ajax or Barca at all. He may well be OK under Sarri though. Considering they're willing to fork out another 40-60 for Golovin and fuckknowshowmuch for Higuain? Would be a no brainer to get the negotiations going with them.

Bizarre fee for a goalie, there are lots of goalies better than Karius and Mignolet who won't cost what Roma want for Allison. Liverpool are desperate for a good goalie though and have money to spend so Roma will do well out of this.

30 (maybe 40 if lucky) is the amount any sane management would be willing to give you for a reserve and unproven guy like Cillessen. And that is probably only restricting it to Chelsea who will be desperate should they let Courtois go and leave it too late to get a better replacement. You couldn't possibly expect more money for him solely on the basis of a BETTER keeper who had a good World Cup and a great season going for a sum that's not even otherworldly for a top10 keeper.
