Arshavin has been a life long culé. He has shown more desire, inclination and support to our club than a certain teammate he plays with. The man's body language and look on his face even suggested he didn't wanna play against us till he limped off. 
The dude is a true culé. No dissing him please. I'd be totally ecstatic if we got him, more so than any other acquisition this summer.

i agree he shouldn't have said it publically but there is a reason why he's said it. He is not one who wants to rot away with no trophies. Ambition is a good thing.
I haven't contradicted myself at alll. He wants to move to his dream club and he is a self confessed Barca fan but in this lastest interview, he has not said he want to leave for Barca. He said it would be the pinnacle of his career (as he is a barca fan) but he hasnt said he wants to leave Arsneal anytime soon..
That quote was when Henry was playing well.
He can not predicted that he would have been as good as he was at the Euros. How did he know he would have Barca still wanting him a season later...he had to take his chances . Remember he isn't young anymore.
These players aren't good enough for Barca, infact NOBODY is good enough for Barca.

Different class. Also, he's been playing in La Liga for his whole career. Takes less time to adapt.
Arshavin offers more versatility than Villa. Hes your AM, winger and striker(if the need be). Hes a late bloomer and players like him 've a longer durability. Hes a class act. Not many better wingers than him out there. Arsenal play a bit similar to us so i don't think he'll take so much time adapting here. He has all the skills needed to succeed with us. Dynamic, pace, dribbling, finishing, vision, touch, movement and a great shooting range.

ok ... so B and Hektor were talking about what it would take to get Arshavin to the Nou Camp. I've done some research and I cannot for the life of me find out if he signed a new contract upon signing w/ Arsenal. The closest I can come to that is this article by The Guardian, which states that upon Arsenal agreeing to the deal, they accepted half of Arshavin's salary from a four year deal he signed with Zenit in 2006. So unless he has infact re-upped his deal with Arsenal, he will be available for free this summer. Again, I cannot confirm for sure, because for some reason there is no website I can find that has teams/players/salaries/contract length like I can find in the NBA/NHL ... I think it's ridiculous.
