Barcelona's Andres Iniesta on search for football perfection

Barcelona's Andres Iniesta tells BBC Sport's Football Focus he believes "football evolution wouldn't be possible if perfection existed".

The Barcelona midfielder says the secret of his success is simply trying "to be better every year".

You can watch the full interview on Saturday at 12:15 GMT on BBC One. LINK

Me and Don Andres are exactly alike- well, except for the skill, but other than that, exactly alike. :D

Is it stupid to suggest that Iniesta is in the top 10 greatest footballers of all time?

His talent has been recognised worldwide, his ballon dor nominations have proved that. However I think his legacy will suffer because Messi is his team mate. On any other team in the world Iniesta would be prasied by the media every week and talked about as on of the best of all time but it's impossible to grab the headlines when your team mate is rewriting football history. It's ridiculous how undervalued he is by the footballing community, so many people fail to recognise how incredible he is.

I don't agree with that, voted Euro top player (fully deserved!), Uefa Player Of The Year, and top 3 Ballon d'Or. If anything I would actually say he is pushed somewhat overhyped rather than underappreciated currently. Also what kind of headlines you would think Iniesta actually should be getting?

I actually agree with this; he is a magnificent player, one of the best in the world, but he has somehow become uncriticizable. As was the case with Zidane, his aesthetical brilliance has for some pushed him above criticism, even when he goes through quiet games.
