he is not pique,at the matche against that team from 3rd division in cup,Bartra had the priority to go forward,at B team he goes forward a lot but this is gonna change with the first team,especially if he plays with Pique

At first, he seemed a little shy to go forward, all his passes were either sideways or back to Puyol, but then BAM! An awesome assist in his first pass forward!

About his defense, I couldn't tell, Almeria were too weak to draw any conclusions, but it's a great way to gain confidence, so kudos to him...

It's not just Chelsea. The standard of passing by FCB defenders is not matched by any other team. Fontas looks to be yet another, hope he pemanently joins the big club soon. I'm looking forward to seeing him play more and more, eventually replacing Puyol.

Well guys i've mentioned have clear future ahead of them, true, Muniesa and Fontas are still very young but they are showing incredible maturity and skill for their age wich is tremendous. Dalmau and our other talented RB Montoya, aren't that good. Or maybe they are but they just didn't get chance to show us what they can do. I would be nice if they correct me in near future, i'd like that very much.

I think we will be seeing a lot more of Fontas with the first team from now on. I would not be surprised to see him start in CL knockout round as soon as Pique gets suspended with his next yellow. I would not be surprised to see one of Adriano, Maxwell or Molito leave the team in January, with Fontas joining the first team permanently.

Well i wouldn't go that far to say that Adriano and Maxwell (who btw aren't playing in the same position as Fontas) will get transfered, but yeah, Fontas will get more and more time in the future. Puyol is not young anymore and i think that Andreu is very good replacement for our trusted captain.

I agree. And I think Adriano's a keeper, he's been great so far.

As for Fontas, yeah, I hope to see more of him.

What a great new start he has got here. Gets called in and plays that superb 60 yard long assist. And the very next match, gets on the scoresheet when the team needed a goal. Great!
