Antoine Griezmann

Sure, but my point is the board has to severely readjust their plans. We've been hearing for months about how they expected Griezmann to come to them. A few months is not long enough if you're looking to scout for players that'll not only improve your midfield, but will fit the balance and playstyle of the team. We're going to get panic signings.

There is plenty of time and will have known for a while its a possibility he wont come.

It's a joke my guy. I know you wanted him to stay. Stop getting all jammed up about a fucking joke.

JamDav is a United fan. You must understand that if he didn't end at ManU he'd rather Griezmann stay at Atleti. :troll:

I kid, I kid. Initially, I too wanted Griezmann to come, but after this shindig dragged this long, I came to realize that I'd rather strengthen the midfield first and then upgrade our forwards. So, from my perspective, it's actually good that he decided to stay.

i mean with costa, lemar, griezmann, as a front three it's pretty nice to have bigger competition.

I'm actually very glad this has happened as I knew there was no chance we'd sign Griezmann for 100 mill and fix the midfield. The reality is we have Messi as the main man still, a young Dembele and Coutinho can play on the left. By the time Messi leaves, Griezmann would be 30/31 anyway and we'd find ourselves looking to upgrade him.

The midfield should be the priority. A starting midfield of Rakitic and Paulinho is nowhere near good enough. Arthur looks good but he's 21 and has no european experience, so to expect him to arrive and perform miracles is short sighted. Bartomeu's reign so far has been to throw lots of money at attackers, whilst the rest of the squad suffers. Please re-inforce the midfield!
