Easier said than done. Griezmann was (and still is) on a horrible contract. With this 2 year loan we saved ~100m.

Griezmann fucked us by only wanting Atleti. Barto fucked us with the wages and then LaLiga didn't give us margin with the cap.

So it ends like this. Should have got the deal on 50% of the first season and 20-40 range in hindsight. Now Atleti are leveraging the minutes but their stinking the joint out. Sooner than later they will need to give Griezmann more minutes just to get some wins.

And also, screw them and Barto. We paid the buyout clause and still had to pay an extra 20m or so on top to prevent legal action as they left a paper trace of tapping up. Now that's ineptitude from Nobita.
