Lightbulb moment, here me out guys.

The SuperCopa should be extended to 8 sides and get more money behind it. Quarter finals in Spain, Semi and Final in Saudi.

England has the League Cup, Spain can make this competition their hybrid version of that.

havent felt this good since last clasico so thanks to the whole team,especially since i had doubts regarding this match. what a joy it was to watch another bashing. too bad that szczesny got himself sent off because i truly believe we could see something along the lines of what bayern did to us few years back

Maybe good that they couldn't make this into historic trashing. Madrid isn't the best litmus test for Barcas real strength. Would make them overconfident. Better show 8-2 at CL against good side or at least trash Madrid like that in the league, where it matters, not the arab copa. Best yet, save it for return to Camp Nou.

Don't know who Scottish or Irish commentator on ESPN was but it was nice to see him root for Real beforehand, cheer for their goal ,claim they play better, that there was no penalty on Gavi... Only for Barca to score 5 and then being silent or just blaming Madrid defense.

Whoever picks these cunts to comment should re-think their choices.

McManaman actually made the claim Gavi was diving even before Camavinga fouled him, you know instead of him trying to chest the incoming ball

He’s usually fair in complimenting Barça, more than most blancos but broadcasts in English are heavily biased for RM. Even one of our former own, Albert Ferrer either is incapable of expressing himself honestly or simply has given into the overall bias of the punditry crew - his coverage of even the 1st Clasico was embarrassing whereas Karanka was predictably blanco but useless (he had very little insights during the match)

I prefer Carlos Martinez or even French commentators, Irish have very honest/direct ones (Didi is one of them) but they are tough to come by

They, instead, have handed us only 2: last season SuperCopa and 22/23 Copa Del Rey under Xavi
