Just stop with Demichellis jesus. Now someone has the sense to call Pastore to the national team and not have Palacio. But Tata doesn't want to make do without Demi?

Firstly that match should not have been played. It is detrimental to the health of the athletes.

As to the match Martino played into Dungbeetles hands. Dunga is not a revolutionary coach. He is the same trusted and tried formula that Brazil have gone back to in order to try and shore up their flagging reputation.

So no surprise in their reliance on the counterattack, cynical fouling (something which we were guilty of later) and getting in the face of the referee.

They were not at all in the game until that soft opener. And had the referee been of the required standard Aguero would have received his penalty and with us in the ascendant it is more than likely we would have to gone on to win the match.

That we didn't is down to the failure to pass accurately, at speed and use width getting progressively worse during the game.

I have to single out two players in Kun and Lamela who were wasteful with possession and the former in converting his chances and then gifting the ball away for the first goal with a sloppy pass to di Maria.

There was no solidity in midfield. Pereyra was a definite positive in the game with his running, work rate, passing and tackling but he is natural winger/attacking midfielder. With Lamela unable or unwilling to support Masche the poor lion was having to plug holes everywhere.

The balance was all wrong. Better to include Perez a natural box to box player who is also combative enough to count defensively.

And as mentioned before the game Dimichelis and Fernandez. Too slow and cumbersome. Dimi should be phased out ASAP and FF is not there at the moment. It's a pity Musacchio was injured, Otamendi was not tried (in rather good form for Valencia) or even Fazio who at least commands the air.

I really hope that Tata is not making one of those decisions that leave people agog with confusion. This is the decision to leave out Garay. His commanding physical presence, speed and organizing skills were sorely missed. Let's hope this was just a case of a club asking to keep hold of a player.

And that old familiar syndrome of lets give the ball to Messi who was far from his usual self yesterday reared it's ugly head again. He is just as valuable as a decoy but instead of using the space created by him players were far too static again unlike against Germany.

In the next match of substance against Portugual I should like to see Iturbe and Tevez added. Both are in form. Garay needs to be recalled and Musacchio should be fit by then with Perez alongside Mascherano.

And Peruzzi perhaps as well. He may be with Catania at the foot of serie B but unlike Fernandez with Zabaleta pushed too far forward he can handle Neymar with ease and really should be in serie A being on the verge of joining Juventus in the summer.

Tata should realize from this match against a mediocre Brazil that being too open unlike Sabella is a recipe for failure something Alfio Basile could have told him beforehand. He has yet to strike the right balance on the pitch but he can be forgiven after only a couple of matches. However losing to that lot is most unpalatable.

Tata should realize

Tata isn't going to realize shit, cause he is a less than mediocre coach. He was shambolic with a team that was multiple times better than the team he has now. Apart from the fact that he maybe has less pressure, I don't see how or why he'd be good for Argentina. What a poor choice of selection from the NT, to select Tata, who very clearly showed he isn't good enough at the top level.

He is far from a mediocre coach. And as to the bolded statement. That is laughable. One game ago he is the messiah. Now he is a pariah. Fickleness is the watchword of the majority of all football fans today.

Tata will do well with Argentina but I don't like his cb choices. I'd also have enzo as a regular starter. If he's clever hell just carry on from sabella.

Wasn't this Tata's first game in charge?

Beating GER B doesn't count. I was sceptical about Tata's appointment from the start, but so was I with Sabella. Brazil was his first test, and he failed. But I'm willing to give him time. Going by his MF call-ups, its obvious what he's trying to do. But, before that, he needs to fix his defense. Dim, and FF don't 've the skillset to complement a high defensive line. He also needs to inject some young blood to provide competition for places. Some of the seniors are there not on merit, but on reputation alone.

And sorry, Tevez is not the answer. He's the same player who said he doesn't miss playing for the NT not so while ago. There are some players who are great at the club level, but can't translate that in the NT colors. Tevez falls in to that category. He's had 60+ caps, and done sweet f all. With him, I bet ARG would 've lost the shoot-out against the Dutch. Hell, I doubt they'd even gotten that far. Another choker. Thanks but no thanks. ARG 've already enough chokers on board, except they don't throw tantrums, and play the victim card at every opportunity. It's sad to see otherwise sensible posters ceding to the people's man and media darling pro-tevez campaign. Fk him. I'd rather someone like Ulloa, or a local lad given a chance.

Nothing he did with Barcelona showed us anything other than the fact that he is not a good coach. It's one thing not being able to handle other pressures, but he was clueless for an entire season, and it showed. As for the bolded statement, I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. I was talking about the team he had with Barcelona, not the friendly against Germany. I never thought he was the damn messiah or anything of that ridiculous sort at any point in time. If people thought he was the Messiah because of that one friendly against Germany, that's stupid. I think he's crap based on a season of utter clue-lessness.

So you're going to discount everything Tata did with Paraguay and Newell's? The pressure got to him at Barca. That doesn't mean he's a bad coach.

Maybe its time to bring on Icardi but according to some of my Argie friends they say that some of the older players like Masch won't allow it since he stole Maxi Lopez's wife. I hope they don't use pettiness like that to stop from trying new players. Shitguero and Gonzafatty aren't the answers for Argentina and Leo.

Federico Fernandez is not the starting material for the NT. How many times this has been proven? I rather keep Demichelis in the team than him. He's that unreliable. Kun Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain has long been hot and cold players ever since I could remember. And unfortunately Argentina take their cold part most of the time. Icardi needs to be called up to put some challenge on them upfront. He's the most lethal #9 Argentina has right now. Mascherano doesn't need to be worried about his wife stealing skills. Wanda is 10 times hotter than his Tello looking wife anyway.

And no to Tevez as well. I'm done with his drama. He's not even that young anymore to be relied on for the next WC. Better stay in that fugly shirt he's wearing right now in Turin.

I remember Sabella was getting criticize a lot and he took Argentina to a final. Give Tata time before rushing to judgement but based on the game both Brazil and Argentina have a long way to go IMO.
