Well, those who have been linked have already joined other clubs so I really don't know. There won't be any signings made before the world cup anyway. He's made that very clear already. After the world cup I reckon some average 10-15 goals a season striker/wide-forward will join.

How about Mandzukic? He hasnt said anything but its obvious that he's pissed at his situation at Bayern. Pep is hesitant to play 1 striker, let alone 2 in his system, and with Lewa coming he wont play much. Everytime he scores he has that angry look on his face, like he has no idea why they want to replace him.

30m will definitely be enough and he's a goal machine.

Wanted Benzema at Arsenal for years, but Wenger himself said it wouldn't work since he and Giroud are in direct competition nationally. Plus your then waiting on Madrid to buy one of Aguero, Suarez or Falcao etc...Giroud has been linked with Atletico.

Mandzukic and Giroud could rotate since they're of a type but then you have the pace problem again, it's vital we have some pace upfront. Remy perhaps if all else fails. Or we go for a winger/forward like Griezmann since Walcott is greatly missed when he's not available. Wonder if Wenger will go back for Draxler, he could play anywhere.

Sagna is off and looks like Serge Aurier will replace. His experience will be missed and he can cover CB, Vermaelen's future is uncertain so we may need some depth at the back..

We also need someone in the middle to replace Arteta, we were linked with Javier Martinez but I'm sure that's the annual press transfer leak come season ticket renewal time. Bender perhaps but seems he wants to stay at Leverkusen. Maybe Gonalons from Lyon or Schneiderlin.

But tbh who the f**k knows with Arsene and I won't give a shit about transfers if we don't win the cup

I'm probably the only person on the planet to think this but I want Torres here, I feel he would do a lot better in our system than in Chelsea's, his level of ability is perfect to compete with Giroud, he's old enough so that when he retires Sanogo will be ready to step in, he's actually decently pacy, wouldn't be lonely due to the Spanish chemistry with Cazorla, Arteta, and Monreal, and he would hopefully not cost too much with Chelsea looking to offload everyone, although I doubt Mourinho would be excited to sell to a direct rival. For defense I have no idea who I'd want, the right back position is so weak right now, barely any world class players, and with other clubs like Barca looking at the few available right backs it's going to be really hard if Sagna leaves. Maybe sign someone who is just decent and hope Jenkinson gets to the required level, but...

For midfield, I wouldn't really want a "destroyer" type player, and there isn't any out there that are available who particularly catch my eye, ideally we would get someone who plays like Arteta but has legs. Diaby is always an outside bet but with his injury record can't rely on him at all. I think it would be neat to lodge a cheeky bid for Henderson, as him and Ramsey would be the sexiest midfield of all time, but Liverpool would have no reason to sell. Schneiderlin maybe, haven't really watched him so I don't know how good he is though.

Calma, calma
Way back when Benzema was GOATing it up at Lyon, I always thought he would end up at Arsenal. IMO he would be perfect, so would Villa in his prime or Higuain. Also Suarez

Maybe if you had a time machine that brought back 2008 Torres, or a magical healing potion to fix his decrepit hamstrings.

Seriously, Torres is done as a top level player. His killer instinct is gone, his hunger is gone, his pace is gone, his finishing is gone.

We should buy back Vela and try to get Benzema (if Real get a new striker). Theo is fit next season, so things will be interesting.

Bloody hell that's the first time I've read from another clubs supporter that they'd like Henderson in their midfield!! It's actually a compliment to how well Henderson have improved in 13/14.

But yeah he ain't going nowhere :D IMO he's our next captain when Gerrard retires.

Yeah, he's really underrated, one of the best mids in the EPL this season, probably just get's underappreciated because of Ramsey and Toure's insane goal tallies and overall play, I feel in another season he'd be rater a lot higher. I hope Hodgson will feature him, think England could really use him in their midfield.

Torres has been doing quite well in Europe, both this season and last, and I think with how our system has a lot more players looking for runners in behind that he would have a much better time than with Oscar shooting to the moon and Hazard dribbling everywhere. He doesn't have those bad misses anymore, he's works hard and he hasn't really been injured too much. As for Benzema, he's pretty inconsistent, and I heard something about him not wanting to compete with national teammate in Giroud.
