Is that a bad thing? You can do like Pool and Spurs and blow it all on mediocre players, or like Barca and realise you need defenders so just buy everything that's available.

He makes mistakes sure like last summer if he kept Sagna and bought Schneiderlin all would've been good really. Still better than buying a bunch of mediocre players (like Welbeck).

The goal wasn't Mertesacker's fault at all, picture makes it look a lot worse than it is. He was constantly beaten by Sterling and Coutinho whenever they ran at him, but that's to be expected, his strength isn't 1v1s, that's why Koscielny is so important to our team, because he always bosses them.
