Come on guys, Arsenal are just not a big club. They're not this huge club which is demanded to show excellence time and time again, but they're doing horribly. That would be the likes of AC Milan.

After what Mertesacker has said, it is ironically fitting that he is their captain. I mean could you imagine that anywhere else? One who is genuinely afraid of performing and living up to the task, to the extend that he nearly vomits before a match. Baffling to select someone like that as a leader on your team - it is the same mentality Gomes talks about with his struggle, and someone like that should never be a captain, imo. As for Arsenal, it fits their 'mentality' and big embarrassments very good, and therefore it is kind of a wild thing that they don't seem to change the problem at its roots: Getting players with a strong mentality.

Rumors coming out of Germany said that Tuchel has rejected Bayern and indicated that he is negotiating with a foreign European top club. And some indicated that club is Arsenal. We shall see.
