Both teams have great players, that's not the issue. But Madrid is disorganized, defensively and offensively, their star players are not in the best form and they look pretty tired as a team. As for Carlo we all know how great he is but he definitely lost his mind and Arteta is good enough to exploit his defensive weaknesses.

Arsenal is more than capable of beating them but it comes down to whether they are scared or not and whether they believe it or not

You do know this is Madrid in CL right? Against one of the biggest looser clubs in the world? We know how ties like this end, even if they had better player which they don't, not even close.

It's a sexy, glamorous club in London.

Arsene Wenger played beautiful, entertaining Football producing some of the best team goals ever. Two clubs dominated the PL when the league started gaining global popularity. United under Ferguson were boring to watch. Wengerball was entertaining and easy on the eye.

They had arguably the biggest PL icon who inspired a generation in Thierry Henry. He's RL9's idol for instance. So many young players today loved Henry when they were kids. He had that 'it guy' aura.

They have had a great modern stadium since 2006?

Arsenal and Chelsea are HUGE in Africa BTW.

Also, a lot of it is just the club reaching out to these celebrities for positive PR.

Some of the most famous/infamous journalists and media personalities like Piers Morgan are vocal Arsenal supporters.

AFTV is the most well known fan channel in the game.

Lots of black people and Jamaican, Turkish people in London seem to love Arsenal. Tottenham is the Jewish London club but not in the same league in terms of success and silverware. Chelsea were nothing before Roman but are pretty popular nowadays.
