I guess those of us who were saying simeone isn't the the answer anymore before they had the great run of games are kind of right.

Today i think he tactics to start was terrible.

Unlucky in the CL, but another 3rd place finish isn't that surprising.

Flick gradually out thought Simeone.

From a loss, to a draw, to a shootout win, to a convincing win.

I think this game though, Atleti arrived half defeated. Even the crowd were deflated.

There is only so much you can go on intensity and then cruelly lose until you mentally fatigue. The way Madrid defeated them, and then we beat them in LL, you could see they were burnt out.

Were terrible in the first half, but credit to Simeone for making quick changes.
How much of it was Simeone and how much our tired legs? I think it played a bigger role that our team was tired as fuck in the second half, after having pressed the entire first 45 minutes in this criminal schedule (Thursday Osasuna, Sunday Girona).

Nah the subs he made impacted the game from minute 45.

He just literally wasted the first 45 with how he sent the team out, he basically did a pep and over thought the first half
