Answered your own question. The team was garbage from 3 years of terrible waste and two donkey managers. If Pep, Mourinhos direct competitor, is spending record amounts on a premier league capable winning squad that was already far superior than ours after than poor period we finished 6th and the club wants to compete and they just happen to be the richest in the world in terms of revenue what do you think Mourinho is going to do?
