He is devoted to Barca he would accept almost anything. Unlike a Mr Valdes.

yaya earns less because when Barça bought him he was not making a lot at Monaco and bringing him to Barça was a risk for us and a big deal for him so he accepted very little.

I d very surprised if Song is earning more than Iniesta.

I doubt the authenticity of this.

From what I have gathered, Messi is our highest earner followed by Villa. Iniesta and Xavi are on the same wage bracket.

That doesnt seem right. I saw an infographic on md or sport once, it was nothing like this. Xavi, Villa, Pique and Iniesta get more than Alves.

In Europe, Euro is a standard currency.

Btw. Something fishy about that list. I don't think Song makes more that Iniesta.

I think Barca player wages structure (per annum) looks something like this. At least it did so in May.

Messi - 10,5 million euros
Xavi - 7,5
Iniesta, Villa, Alves - 7
Valdes, Fabregas - 6
Pique, Puyol Busquets - 5

I heard Busquets and Iniesta will be offered contract renewals and pay-rises shortly. IIRC their contracts expire in 2015.
