O Busquets played as a rb when he is a cdm but Rafinha played striker so you won't shit on him bjt the younging played out of position is fair game.

How can you pssibly make so many conclusion from a freaking game? Especially a first game of a preseason against a good team on their 4th. Dude have some perspective and stop being so reactionary.

He was good when used as 12th guy in the 15/16 season, right before his first major injury and looked liked breaking through (never as starter though, more like Pedro material). Now he looks good when nobody has rhythm, but falls back due to lack of playing time.

I would definitely support a midfield base of de Jong, Arthur, Vidal, Busquets, Puig & Rafinha or Alena for the season.
Get rid of Rakitic, and sell either Alena or Rafinha. Busquets gets his final season a senior, as he will be more and more take a bench role.

Starters should always be de Jong, Arthur, Busquests/Vidal for the big matches. But against the likes of Valladolid, Eibar etc. Arthur/de Jong can get some rest, and guys like Puig / Rafinha / Alena get some playing time. Coach should never take both Arthur/de Jong together off the field, because then we lack speed in play from midfield.

With that in mind, Frenkie and Griezmann looked good. The only doubt is who they replace in the starting 11.

I think it is time to see Puig move ahead of Alena in the hierarchy. Perhaps loan Alena out.

Other than that the game was a real bore and there are some worries in the squad. No LB backup and no clear AML. The days of a left footed player on the left wing are dead. Players like Carlos Perez and Malcom look like fishes out of water. Who would of thought that 10 or 15 years ago.

O.busquets even out of position showed lack of major qualities for whatever position he might play. He is too slow and grumpy. Dont want to stuck with another roberto for eternity
