Our expenditures are too high, especially salary.
I love messi like any good Barca fan, but does he need to get a raise every 1.5 years or so.
Plus Neymar starting wages was waaaaay to high, can you imagine if he stays at Barca for the next 6 years what is salary will be like.
We need to implement a better wage structure at the club.
Playing for Barca should be a Honor, we shouldn't be paying over the odds for players to come here.

His last contract was in 2014. It'll be 3 years when this one is signed. Messi deserves it.

think that has a lot to do with casual american fans watching the premier league exclusively, and the name Manchester united rings a bell in their head. That's a huge market there.

Again, our best players have been offered wages way beyond what barca offers - China, City, Chelsea, PSG. We are lucky. But MSN are way to expensive IMO considering what they offer as a trio. IMO we should sell Neymar and go for dybala + worldclass CM. Neymars price-performance-ratio is shit. the board of directots will meet quiet a hurdle paying those wages in the upcomming years and still sign startingplayers in future.
