Samper is coming back from loan and will hopefully finally get his real chance with the first team. Hopefully our new manager will actually follow the b team and communicate with the players outside of the pitch too.
In an ideal world Sampaoli would be our manager by july. Mathieu, Arda, Gomes, Paco, Vidal, would all be gone and replaced with Marlon/Lemos, Thiago, Grimaldo, Palencia, and Munir/Feu/Sandro.

Who cares if Bayern isn't a selling team? Kroos was the main man at Bayern aswell but look what happened. I recall not too long ago Mazinho was hoping Thiago to return to Barcelona to reunite with Rafinha and his family. If we'd actually show interest in Thiago and he pushed for a move it WOULD happen, but like I said that would only be possible in ideal world. Right now were stuck with the likes of Gomes, Arda, Paco, and Vidal unfortunately.

Youth is good, gotta start building the team for future and the only 'unexperienced' player there is Palencia and Marlon. Thiago is like 25, Grimaldo 22, Lemos 22, and Munir, Sandro, and Deulofeu all have played atleast 3 years of top league football.

Kroos had fallen out of favor with Pep and the board.
They had disagreements, Kroos didnt get a contract renewal and bayern put him in the market.
He was not a player they valued very much, dispensable player just like how we sold Alexis, Cesc. They were starters but not key players, players we can do without

Compare to Thiago who is a top top midfielder, on fire and the main man for them, totally different

Kroos fell out with the Bayern board over salary demands, he had no issues with Pep.

Thiago's contract runs out in 2019 so if he want to return he can simply not extend it and they would have to sell next year, but he seem settled there and it makes sense for him to stay.

Well, actually, it's says that we made an offer to Isco - 20M bonus if he arrives in 2018 when his contract expires(assuming he won't renew). It could be true, we probably not the only top club that made a similar offer.

I'd take Isco if that was among our only options. I'd take him over Coutinho for sure. He has his flaws but he's a class player on the ball and Barca's system would suit him quite a bit if he adapted to a midfield role. His prowess on the ball and the way Barcelona mostly circulate the ball high in the opponents half would give him a solid platform to perform to the best of his ability.

Dunno how big the RM-Barca transfer obstacle is though. Isco probably wants to leave desperately but I'm sure Real could block a move to Barca if they wished. The only question is whether they value him as a player enough to explicitly not want him to strengthen Barca or if they see him as total deadweight and don't really care where he's off to.
