Barca Transfers and Rumors

Deulofeu is doing very good at Milan. but l'd prefer B.Silva or Dembele to him. The rest can stay where they are.

Minumum transfer market for me,

RB(Sidibe, Cancelo, Bellerin e.t.c)
Deep lying playmaker(Kimmich, Thiago, Verratti)(l'd go for Kimmich for this role and Verratti for İniesta replacement)
İniesta replacement(Thiago, Verratti,Coutinho)
Winger(Dembele, B.Silva or Deulofeu low cost option)
back up CB.(Tah, Lindelöf)

so we need at least 2 world class players, 2 midfielders. l don't care about the rest. However, the midfield is a priority.if we don't sign midfielders, don't expect us to dominate over Real)

Absolutely have to get a new right back and centre mid who looks to dominate the ball.

Personally want to see Messi go back to the right wing and hold his position more and a play maker who doesnt look to go through him every time.

Messi would get ball less but be in the final third more and should get more space to go try win games.

I wanted Pogba or Vidal and looking at what we brought in anyone of those two would have been a big boost.

We offered 80 million for Pogba and Juve sold him for 95 I believe.

When it comes to signing players quality over quantity anyday.

It's almost May and there has been a surprising absence of strong transfer rumors for Barca. Which is kind of out of the ordinary.

Even the Bellerin rumors have seemed to have died down.

We can keep hoping, but it I don't see it happening.
Messi lacks the dominant agility he once had to play that position again. He knows his strength is being a play maker and moving more towards the goal to finish. He won't get that as RW. Even if the coach tried him in that position he will be more of a pseudo-RW and keep moving inside. In past 9 years since Pep took over he played less than 3 years as RW,he was always more comfortable playing more central than on the sides

You can criticize Roberto as much as you want, but he has been able to hold his cards close and made the media look fools with their rumors,we could be active or already have agreement and they don't know (doesn't mean we will sign right players though)

Hope we do, it's a crucial transfer window.

No more bums like Cancelo or Bellerin now for 30m/40m+

Rumors will appear and the player will be signed. All within the span of a week or so. It's the Robert way.

Sport hammering us for last season's signing.

About fucking time too!

The criticism is absolutely deserved, but SPORT is rating the players only on a basis of minutes played and scored goals. This is not a serious analysis. It's unfair to Umtiti's strong recent performances and also unfair to Arda's bad form, you get the impression that Turk is our best player in Champions League this season.

Seems like this board only see "good" players in EPL, which WE all know are overrated and costs way to much.
B.Silva is is looked into by many clubs but still wouldnt cost as much as Coutinho.
Fabinho is just as good or better than Bellerin and wouldnt cost nearly as much.
Weigl could be something to gamble on, i personally think he could play both DM and CM, great passingabilities.
Dembele didnt want to come to us last year becouse he didnt want to fight for a spot with MSN, but now he would be perfect.

A deep playing playmaker ala Xavi...now that is the hard nut to crack..Verratti would be ideal but it less then 1% chance.
Dahoud would be a huge gamble aswell and just went to Dortmund.
Its almost becoming a lost art among footballplayers, Modric posseses it somewhat.

There is also the factor that we are not the "best team in thw world" anymore, and players might not be as easily persuaded to join us instead of Juventus, RM, Dortmund, BM etc.

The article actually says Umtiti is pretty much the only good signing. I would add Digne aswell, hes a good backup and accept that role.

How about looking inward? Roberto,Alena. . . . Roberto has a calm head, seams like a fast learner and has balls of steel most importantly.
I just think we shouldn't spend so much for that position.

Roberto is not a natural RB, and it has shown at crucial points.
Hes not the best in midfield either.

Alena could be a good backup, i would much rather give him a chance then keeping Denis and Rafinha.
