Do you see it as more possible for him to come here, if he doesn't revolt against them? I disagree.
If they get a compliant player, then they have NO motivation whatsoever to sell him. If he causes public trouble, then maybe, even though they could turn it to their advantage and get publicity from looking 'strong'. But I know that we won't get him no matter what he does.
Like I said in the Verratti thread if he won't revolt then we have around 0,0000001% chances to get him. If he'll try to burn bridges between him and PSG (and not attending training would mean trying to do exactly that) then those possibilities go down to negative. Nasser is just too stubborn and proud to let a star player put pressure on him personally and at the same time also make a bad publicity for the club which would clearly happen if Verratti wouldn't show up to training.
Anyway, I'm against players trying to forcing his way out of the club that way. I'm ok with what Verratti has done so far during his hollidays and with players generally put in a transfer requests if/when they want to leave and most clubs eventually accept that because it's not smart to keep players when their minds are not with the club anymore. But I'm against boycotting trainings and doing other things a professional shouldn't to to force his way out mostly for two reasons:
1. Contracts should be respected as nobody put a gun to Verratti's head to sign extension every single year he's been in Paris. If PSG don't want to let him go then it's their right to do that and it's also Verratti's obligation to respect his contract. At the same time it's his own fault that he kept signing those extensions year after year to get more money without thinking that he might change his mind and want to leave someday when only money won't be enough to please him anymore.
2. It's understandable Barça fans keep saying he should force his way out etc. but what if situation would be reverse and our star player would do those things to force a transfer to PSG? I know we usually let players go that don't want to be here but what if we'd want to keep that player at all costs and he'd want to leave anyway. Imagine a scenario where Messi signs a new contract today and then tomorrow he suddenly decides to leave and would start not attending trainings. What would people think about that? I know Messi is not the best example but he's our biggest star like Verratti is for PSG and well, I didn't want to say Neymar because he's not loved by all Barça fans and most would sell him before he'd even start to think doing s**t like that.
