Barca Transfers and Rumors

Don't think we will consider Wendel/Fernandes yet for the B team this summer considering Vitinho and Marlon will take up both the non EU spots in the squad.

Wendel though I would prefer to take a gamble on him in the main team that get Paulinho.

Are we sure Marlon is going to be in Barca B?
He is 22 so if he played 11 games or something like that he will be automatically promoted.
With only 3 CBs in the team that is few number.
Unless we are sure Neymar get Spanish citizenship before January

Well rumors were that if the B team gets promoted Barca wants to keep him there so he can play for both the B team and the first team when needed.

But Barto did mention 1-2 Players could be promoted from the B team this summer, and I'm guessing one of them is Marlon.

So far this transfer window looks like a huge cluster fuck and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Delofeu, Paulinho??? Even if Valverde turns out to be a coaching genius we are fucked.

I predict a trophyless season coming up and rumours of MSN leaving.

I am alarmed because even as a huge club we cannot attract good, young players. That is a flashing red light because when our greats start to decline the team is going to be in a shambles.

We can attract good young players. We signed Umtiti. The problem is that we simply are incompetent knuckleheads in the transfer market, chasing massively overrated, straight average or old players on a consistent basis. There doesnt seem to be any long term strategy at all. The squad is constantly getting filled up with favorites from one of our former coaches, that coach leaves after a season or two and new favorites of the new coach enter. No vision or imagination. Just a constant stream of mediocrity coming in. On extremely high wages. As the golden La Masia generation fades away, we are left to rely more and more on our skills in the transfer market.

Until this board is in charge for the club this will continue. And that is until 2021. So basically Bartomeu will ruin last years of Messi era. It will take a long long time to recover from Bartomeu and sadly we may become something like Lpool and Milan.

Sad thing is that people of Barcelona don't care, if they did they wouldn't have chosen Bartomeu ahead of Laporta, or they would organize demonstrations in front of the Camp Nou forcing him to resign.

Trade Neymar for Verratti (+cash), buy Coutinho, sell deadweight like Arda, Rafinha, D. Suarez (maybe) and other players that are coming back from loan, buy a RB, promote Alena, Marlen. It is DOABLE.

I specifically didn't mention Gomes because it seems that he is somehow untouchable unfortunately.

It's already happened. Xavi, Puyol and Alves not replaced. Iniesta next. Messi, Suarez Pique and Busquets heading into their 30s. How are we meant to sign comparable quality to these players? And we let the likes of Thiago , Grimaldo and Bellerin leave.

Real will clean up for the next decade. The only trophy Messi will win again in his career is copa del Ray.

MARCA claiming Barca and Real going head to head for Odriozola.

Possible alternatives are Cafu, Maicon and Carlos Alberto.

The only fact that we made an offer for Paulinho is more than enough to tell me that this club is dead for good.

No club in the world is fool enough to make a move for such players. Unless of doubtful businesses which is likely the case.

I'd actually take anyone of them before Bellerin.

Good news if we are really interested in Odriozola but we should've signed him before he renewed contract with Sociedad. If we'll go seriuosly for him and he choose to be Carvajal backup rather than our starter then I'll start to worry too. But for now all are just speculations.

Yeah if Barca go head to head for a RB and lose them then that is ridiculous.

Can see reasons why likes of Ceballos would go to Real but not a RB to be back up to Carvajal.
