Coach that coached Basques throws 30mil. on backup Basque.
It's like I was worried that Valverde's view is too narrow-minded as he could only sign Basques for Bilbao. What's next, 80 mil. for Herrera?
Inigo is not a backup for Sociedad. We're buying a starter - not a backup. That should good.

He will be backup at Barca, and I agree 30m is too much for a backup player, even in this market.

Inigo is a beast.. impressed with him every time i've watched him. Where he fits in our squad is another thing like you said.. 4 starting CBs in Pique/Masch/Umtiti/Martinez....
Umtiti for me personally is first choice...

I would think about selling Mascherano tbh.........
Backup and not even a prospect who could become a starter one day. Plus Mascherano is twice the player Inigo is.

That's crazy talk, buddy. Just for his presence alone Piqué should be favoured. I love Umtiti, but Piqué is one of a kind.

Agreed. Umtiti is showing great potential. Liked his play last season.
People always complain that Barca don't have quality depth like Madrid. Yet when we buy a quality starter, a 26 year old player with plenty of years left for 30ish M, then people proceed to complain. It's so stupidly. In this market this price is really good. People here should quit belly-aching.

I get what you're saying. I'd make Pique captain personally.. I just liked Umtiti's style last season, quite unique for a CB and his runs forward are great
