In my opinion, we should sign Eriksen, De Ligt, Arthur and should have first option on De jong. Yerry mina can be loaned out. And Iniesta should play at least one more season only in big games like Cristiano in last two seasons.

I don't know what is the Barca's obsession with Spanish league players. It's true that this is the best league in the world. But when a defender of the quality of De Ligt is there, how can you not prioritize his signing? Instead they priotize Lenglet. They did the same mistake by signing Paco Alcacer.

Linglet is one of half dozen or CB that is linked to us, last player we signed from Liga was in 2016. We have signed Semedo/Paulinho/Dembele/Coutinho/Mina/Deulofeu since then.

Get two world class CM's and Arthur. I don't care how, just do it. Our attack is currently completely separated from the midfield.

We could do with one too, but we definitely need another World Class creative CM and pair him up with Coutinho.

We need to go back to playing with 3 attackers.
So extremly easy to defend against only Suarez.
And we need a midfield that can actually transport the ball to those attackers and not players like Rakitic that mostly passes sideways and breaks under any preassure.

Goddammit, when is this club going to learn. I cannot believe how much the club have indulged the players. Today's defeat was mostly Valverde's fault but our core layers are aging and currently need to be either replaced or used wisely. Messi needs more rest ditto Suarez, Pique, Busquets and Alba. Iniesta should be a sub now or let go.

People talk about our midfield but Liverpool with a shit midfield beat City over two legs and have made the semis.

I wonder what Coutinho is thinking?

Its not just about the midfield. They dont have players not giving a shit about pressing or doing their part in helping out the defense. They also play with high intensity which is just the way to counter our slow paced football. They have players running into space all the time. They have players trying to make themselves available for the ball. Last night we must score a goal with 5 minutes to go and you have 9 players standing still waiting for something to happen while the ball holder cant do shit, which ends in a useless long ball nobody can win. Also their coach is not a fraud, he is active, always yelling and showing emotions to his players and actually reacts when shit hits the fan, not only when it is way too late.

Barca cannot play in the pressing/counter attacking way the likes of Liverpool do unless Messi goes back to RW more and is willing to hold position and run off ball like he did in 2015.

People go on about Real having multiple threats and they do because they can play with pace, can use full backs, can get balls into box from wide as they have Ronaldo as a focal point and not someone who is given almost every attacking role going.

Midfield needs to be given back to a playmaker and Messi in final third not a bunch of choir boys who just give Messi centrally and slowly.

I know, he is a part of the problem. Nobody asks him to run up and down like Alves used to do but he sure as hell could move his ass a little more than he does.

How much money do we really have left to reinforce the squad? We have spent a truckload of money and with Griezmann also incoming, I doubt there is much left, especially for so-called "world class" players (players who play for filthy rich clubs that dont need to sell).

Liverpool have done very well without Coutinho indeed.
