Everyones announcing this like its something important.
Waste of money if you ask me.
Whats so plan B about someone who's 5.7"?
Man I am starting to get a little bothered about shady dealings with Lucho. .
Just my humble opinion.
This guy is just a short average player.
At least Munir has potential and flair.

Yeah that isnt much of a plan b. We can win 90% of the games with Munir. Paco wont help one bit if we cant break a bus down. Just helps a little if one of msn end up injured in big games.
All we need is Lucho to rotate smartly so msn doesnt burn out when it matters.
A guy like Gomez would have been a better addition to our team for a plan b.

To me, he is a :song: kind of signing

To me he is not. He is a good signing, but of course we all would rather have Munir do a Roberto and break through (he hasn't done that yet, imo).
I hope he isn't included in the deal so he can get regular playing time another place than Valencia. I think some regular time as a starter will prove if he has what it takes to stay here.

You do know it takes very strong will to get into the mindset of playing for a big club right?
You are going to question your abilities subconsciously.
Even Neymar and Suarez who were of superior quality to him at the time of joining FCB, had to face the aforementioned challenges.
Add to that the fact that they had "GUARANTEED" first team starts, which equals to ample game time, which automatically leads to development.
He is not going to be afforded that luxury. . .
I am sorry but i see a huge huge flop in this signing.
Not at all impressed.

Munir is simply not good enough right now. People saying Alcacer will be a success if he scores in 5 important games? Can Munir go that? Munir hasnt even scored 5 goals for us in his whole career. He needs to develop elsewhere, he simply isnt good enough right now. He isnt 17 years old anymore, he is nearly 21 years old. Alcacer is only 2 years older than him and is already a top goalscorer at Valencia. People who want Munir to stay dont care about his development. Now that Arda is also an option in MSN, Munir will have even less games than last year. Other clubs are improving and doing so well, we wont win the CL with Munir as a backup. I cant trust Munir to play against Real if Suarez was injured but I can trust Alcacer because he has been doing it for 3+ years.

If Munir cant survive against Alcacer who people here thinks is shit then Munir was never good enough in the first place.

Agree with some of your points.
They are valid and very precise.
However, the question remains, what exactly makes Alcacer our "Plan B"?
What does he offer that we currently lack upfront ?

Goals without MSN. Alcacer allows us to put in a player who has shown he can score against LaLiga clubs and if a proven goalscorer. Munir cant offer us that right now. He is an upgrade from Munir most importantly in my opinion. Just like Real have Morata and Juve have Zaza and Mandzukic top teams need backup players who proven and not still developing like Munir is right now. I would like to say that i dont think Munir is a bad player, half of the reason I want this transfer to happen is because of the rumours Munir will either go out on loan or go with a buyback option, I feel that Munir with 30+ games under his belt, will be a very good player. He has already shown signs of his talent even though he hasnt played alot of games for us and the potential is there for him to become an amazing player if he were to further develop.

But every player is aware of this when they move to a big club. They consider the pros and cons of the move then decide. Especially with MSN here, he would have thought hard about his place in the team but he still decided to come anyway. To me that shows he has strong will, he is going up against MSN when all other players we were linked with withered away in fear. Where you see a huge huge flop, i see a player willing to leave his comfort zone in order to test himself against the very best, he wants to win trophies and is making a move in order to further his career. that is admirable.
