Well these sorts of wishes are totally hopeless. If you're this desperate for some quality depth as a fanbase and a club, you know this is a symptom of things being upside down. It's exactly what Madrid thinking was back in Calderon era. I keep bringing this up, because it's so reminiscent. We used to go after fucking useless targets like Emerson, washed up players like Cannavaro, fucking Metzelder or your would-be-Pepe-equivalent Saviola. Mostly because we were a laughing stock in Europe and no one, including our fans, took us seriously post-Galacticos and we couldn't attract targets we wanted.

You guys need to avoid these 30+ players even if you think bringing them in serves some purpose, even for short contracts. It's false sense of security and settling for far less to satisfy a short-term goal. Get somebody average and young if you must, even if you have to slightly overpay and have them end up like Gomes. Never go for full-retard and try to fix your squad with washed-up shit. Vidal is still somewhat OK for the money, but if it becomes a trend you'll be in biiiig trouble.
